  Owned an EV for a year and a half. First time charging away from home/work on the way back from LA. First station: payment system did not accept any cards we've tried. Second station: payment system was completely down. Third station: payment system finally accepted my visa card. Main screen informing customers of price, charging speed, etc. was extremely hard to read because the plastic protective layer was almost completely toasted by the sun. So the future is electric, harnessing the giant fusion reactor in the sky, but our charging stations can't handle it? Come on, do better EVgo. I hope this is not a representative sample of what the usual charging experience is at EVgo stations... 4 stars because it still got the job done in the end and got us home.

  2 of the stations are broken completely and the rest 2 are not able to authorize payments until you call customer service to start a session. It’s not just me either, I saw 3 other people striggle with the same issue. EVgo took California’s tax money to build these, and then refuses to maintain them. Wish someone would do something about that.

  One of the stations wouldn't authorize and we tried 3 different payment methods before moving to an open adjacent space. $3 session fee plus 0.74/kwh. Very expensive. In the future, I will try a different station all together. Rates too expensive here.

  It was a busy one but the wait was short probably due to the 8 chargers. The speed is wonderful and I can charge in one hour while I grab a bite to eat. I love these chargers when I’m here since my hotel doesn’t have them

  Funcionó perfecto con BYD y me dejó cargar hasta el 100%, otros solo dejan al 80%
