  I have an unusual vehicle which is often turned away by shops. They were able to.servuce my vehicle in a very timely fashion. All the employees were kind and courteous. They went above and beyond to explain all services and procedures.

  I will personally never return to Skippy’s and regardless of the high reviews that brought me there begin with, everyone should be aware that you are not safe from upselling and poor customer service. In short: Had a nail and needed tire to get patched. Come to find out there were 2 holes and one in a location that could not be repaired. No issue, it happens. Where things went downhill with Skippy’s: My wife was driving the car while I was on international travel. Felt that even with her limited experience with shops that Skippy’s would properly take care of her. They tried to convince her to buy 4 new tires because the other ones were near that state, but didn’t offer equivalent tires. Then went down to just replacing that single tire. I finally got involved and called the shop directly. I would have preferred to change all 4 to matching tires and would have if they offered equivalent performance tires. Employee went on to say I have top tiered tires and they don’t offer similar ones. Even though what they offer are lower tiered, they were “good enough”. I directed that I wanted just the spare tire installed then and we would pay for the work completed (tire removal, spare install). Then I was told a new tire was already installed and unable to be dismounted. If they did it would be considered used and not favorable for the shop. Now I have mismatched tires. I responded saying so there’a nothing else we could do? He responds by hanging up on me thinking that was my way of ending the conversation. I was tempted to go to the shop directly to handle this as soon as I got back but a review to prevent others from experience the same was better use of my energy. I will no longer be using Skippy’s service. I will advise those who I know to not waste their time. If you choose to, just beware that they are just another business and will always focus on making that sale so advise anyone you send there if they don’t have experience dealing with shops. The rudeness and lack of customer service was infuriating but I’ll just put my energy to finding the new neighborhood shop.

  I keep going back to Skip’s for a couple reasons. 1) staff is pretty friendly and very knowledgeable. Love, John. I feel like they work to find the best options. 2) I think the cost is competitive and generally reasonable 3) convenience. They can generally fit me in and always provide reliable estimates of wait times

  I brought my car to fix a flat tire. They get the job done right away. No unnecessary sales talk like other tire shops usually bring up. Just hear what I wanted, and do what's necessary. Great

  This is the second time I’ve brought my vehicle to Skip’s. Service was priced well and the wait time was reasonable. Technician apologized for returning the car later than communicated (10 minutes). Honest and capable crew, no high pressure for recommended work.
