  It was a 1.5 hours wait to get the work started on my car even with an appointment. What is the point of the appointment then. I have visited 3 times and everytime i was told we are understaffed today.

  I was in an accident and my tire needed to be repaired. I was able to drive to the nearest tire shop, which was Skip’s. Andrew got me in, found out my strut, was bent from the impact, and was able to do the repairs I needed that day and got me back on the road.

  This was my first time visiting Skip’s because I wanted to support a local business. I only needed a simple tire rotation, so I expected it to be a straightforward experience. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. The person at the front desk came across as rude and disinterested. While I was waiting to pick up my car, he took what appeared to be a casual personal phone call, leaving me waiting. When I asked a question, he answered as though he was doing me a favor rather than helping a customer. The service itself was also lacking. After the tire rotation, the tire pressures were uneven, and not all of the tires had been properly inflated. When I pointed this out, I was told that the tire pressure monitoring system would update after driving for a while. However, even after several days of driving, the pressure readings remained uneven because the tires had simply not been filled correctly. Checking and adjusting tire pressure after rotating tires is a basic part of good service, and I expected better attention to detail. Overall, I left disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of the work.

  Unethical and unprofessional place, avoid at all costs. They advertise free tire rotation and balance with tire purchase but TWICE now I have been denied these services for one excuse or another. It is highly obvious that the staff here only wants to take in cars paying for new services or tires. This place should be reported to the BBB for fake advertising. Additionally staff lacks tire knowledge and will always just offer replacements rather than simply doing the service you requested. Save yourself the headache and go to KIMS TIRE for fast and ethical service.
