    私も同じような経験をロサンゼルス空港のsixtレンタカーで経験しました。 当初、5日間で約10万円程度の日本車を予約していたと思いますが、受付に行くと「その車はもうない」と言われ、代わりにかなり高額なBMWを勧められました。 「これしかない」と説明され、確か800ドル程度と言われた記憶があります。 確か予約したのはRSV4でした。 INTERMEDIATE SUV TOYOTA RAV4 または類似車種 5 4 オートマチック マイル制限なし 14500JP¥87JP¥14,500.87/1日 72501JP¥24JP¥72,501.24合計 どういう訳か、BMWしかないと。それならメールで知らせてくれたらいいのに! 後日対応を報告したいと思います しかし、後日クレジットカードには約2,400ドル相当、円換算で36万円以上の請求がありました。 保険料、追加料金、税金、デポジット、燃料代、通行料などの内訳が分からず、明細書の送付を依頼しても、現時点では返答がありません。 これまで海外で何度もレンタカーを利用してきましたが、ここまで説明と請求額に差がある経験は初めてです。 他のサイトでも同様の口コミが複数見られたため、このレンタカー会社を利用する方は、受付時の説明、契約書、追加保険、アップグレード料金、最終請求額を必ずその場で確認した方がよいと思います。 今後、相手側から明細や説明が届くかを確認し、その対応についても追記したいと思います。 個人的には、今回の対応には非常に不信感があります。特に日本人旅行者は、英語での契約説明が不十分なまま高額請求になる可能性があるため、十分注意した方がよいと思います。 ライティング I had a similar experience with Sixt Rent a Car at Los Angeles Airport. I believe I originally reserved a Japanese car for about 100,000 yen for five days. However, when I went to the rental counter, I was told that the car was no longer available, and I was instead offered a much more expensive BMW. I was told that this was the only car available, and I remember being told that the cost would be around USD 800. However, later I found a charge on my credit card for approximately USD 2,400, which is over 360,000 yen. I do not know the breakdown of the charge, such as insurance, additional fees, taxes, deposit, fuel, tolls, or other costs. I requested an itemized invoice, but so far I have not received any response. I have rented cars many times overseas, but this is the first time I have experienced such a large difference between the explanation at the counter and the final amount charged. I have also seen several similar reviews on other websites. Therefore, I strongly recommend that anyone using this rental car company carefully check the explanation at the counter, the rental agreement, any additional insurance, upgrade fees, and the final total amount before signing. I will wait to see whether the company provides an invoice or explanation, and I plan to update my review depending on their response. Personally, I feel very distrustful of the way this matter has been handled. In particular, Japanese travelers should be very careful, as they may be charged a high amount without receiving a sufficient explanation in English.

    Never rent from this location. Awful customer service. I prepaid for my rental car and couldn’t pick it up from this location. Stay away if you can. I called the customer service line several times trying to cancel my reservation. I talked to two people and both of them were very rude and entitled! Update: after several calls with the customer service. They didn’t refund my money. The worst experience ever! Horrible company!

    We were greeted by Amanda at the desk at the San Jose Airport. She got us all our information very quickly. As someone that uses rental cars often, I was worried about using a new (to me) company. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the car was clean and easy to find, and it was a smooth process.

    Stay away from this unscrupulous company! Over the years I have rented multiple times for work. Never have I ever received any type of damage report. The first and only time I rented SIXT, I get a notice saying theres a "<5cm superficial scratch" on the rear bumper and that I may get charged for it! Apparently SIXT is notorious for this type of scam. They have several complaints with BBB, FTC and even have an action class law suit open against them for fraudulent claims like this one. I had the vehicle for less than 24 hours. Never even opened the back door or the rear. When I went to pick up the car, once my transaction was completed, the clerk said that it was really good that I had corporate insurance and proceeded to ask me about what type of insurance I had. As we were speaking he wrote some info down. I didn't think much of it at the time but seems awfully suspicious now. Then when I went to pick up the car, I asked the attending to do a walk through and they said it was already checked and it was good to go. When I returned it, attending that was looking at the car said everything looked good. But then I get an email an hour later saying there's damage. The only good thing is that I have picture before and after. In process of disputing now. I will report them just like everyone else is doing and will seek legal councel if needed. Do your self a favor and rent with a more reputable company.

    Had a really good experience with Sixt Rental Car! Everyone was super helpful, and Gil especially made the rental process feel easy from the start. He even helped me with my heavy luggages, which I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated. What stood out was how natural the customer service felt—they weren’t just going through the motions. The customer service is uniform across the team. They noticed when help was needed and just stepped in. One of the team members even offered to help before knowing if I was a customer or not, which says a lot. Overall, just a smooth and genuinely nice experience. Would definitely rent with them again! Definitely way better than other places - highly highly recommend!
