- BKBradley Kynard2 days ago5.0Run don't walk to California Auto Glass. I cannot recommend them and the front desk woman, Lucy, enough. I live in SF and unfortunately having your car broken into and it's windows broken are part of the deal. Even if there's nothing in it! Anyways, I did as anyone else would do and got a quote from Safelite for my 2021 Chevy Bolt EV (rear passenger glass). Safelite quoted me an eyewatering $517.00 after waiving the $49.00 on site fee. I felt that was rather high. I googled other locations and read a good review about California Auto Glass. I called, Lucy answered and quoted $175.00 for the same glass. That's a $342.00 difference. Glass is glass folks. Only difference was I had to bring the car in. The shop is mom and pop but organized. They were quick and efficient. The installer; didn't get his name told me had 10 years of auto glass installation BEFORE he opened California Auto Glass. Found out subsequently he was the owner. Said the car would be ready in an hour and it was. They also provide "snacks" etc. for the customers. I walked away with fresh cucumbers. They gave me a choice of that or watermelon. I'm serious. Great place and great people. Don't get ripped off by there other glass places. I don't work for CAG nor do I have any personal connection to them.

- MMMichaelJun 24, 20165.0My first night in San Francisco someone broke into my car. These guys gave me a cheap quote, saw me immediately, and fixed my car within an hour. Plus they were incredibly nice and had food for me while I waited!
