Decent experience, no wait time and the car was ready. Staff was very friendly. The return to another location was also seamless. Thanks Alamo staff.

First class experience from beginning to end. Staff at counter overworked but super friendly. Clean new vehicle supplied. Easy in and out procedure. Top tip is to complete as much online documentation before arrival to speed things up.

It was really a pleasant experience to rent from Alamo. Every staff from checking in and returning my car was so kind, making me feel comfortable with the whole renting procedure. I would definitely recommend renting from Alamo when you need a rent during your stay at SF!

We booked an 'Elite SUV' for 3 weeks here and were originally assigned a BMW x3 which looked very nice (new, fairly low milage, lots of features, very clean,..) but upon starting the car I instantly get an oil change warning (how did they not see this themselves??) So I told the guy and he said there were no other cars he could give me as that was the nicest one they have. He then told me to drive the BMW to a different office where they are able to 'upgrade' me to a 'Luxury SUV' which was a Maserati. This sounded nice on paper, but the 'upgraded' car turned out to be a massive downgrade. Older, 3x the milage, very basic tech, scratches, broken buttons, damaged touchscreen, steering wheel misaligned.... The only nice thing about it was the brand which I don't care about. Having a 'sports car' for a 3 week road trip ended up costing us a fortune on gas as it was extremely inefficient. I am disappointed in their lack of pre-checks in their cars and their limited available selection in this segment.
