Very disappointing customer service.
My VinFast has been at the service center for more than two weeks for an app update and other service work. During this entire time, I have received almost no communication. No one can tell me when my car will be ready, and I have to keep following up myself for updates.
On top of that, I had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket. VinFast told me that reimbursement will take eight weeks after they receive the rental invoice, which means customers have to cover the cost for a long time while their vehicle is being repaired.
I understand that repairs can take time, but the lack of communication and the extremely slow reimbursement process are unacceptable. A company selling new vehicles should provide much better customer service and keep customers informed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend VinFast's customer service.
Stay away from Vinfast. These cars are dangerous. My daughter has been left stranded on several occasions due to mechanical and tech issues. Be warned!
They are ridiculous customer service and they are not answering any calls or returning my VM . They are indicate to finish service in 2 days and my car passed one week and no response . Am really regret my VinFast purchase from them .

We have a 2024 Vinfast VF8 Plus. We relocated to Las Vegas - NV from Tampa - FL where we got the car. Vinfast San Diego is our closest dealership now. Not ideal but the service provided by Ben and tech team was nothing but the best.
We got the latest software available that fixed all the glitches and they fully charged it so I can start my trip back to Las Vegas without further delays.
The adaptive cruise control is smooth same as the fully regenerative breaking system and the car is charging faster at DC charging stations.

I just bought the VinFast VF8 SUV in Ocean Green and love this car so much! My first electric car and very impressed with all features! John and Amanda were amazing to work with and very responsive from my first text to delivering the car and showing me all the features. They aren’t the typical dealership sales team, they’re first class all the way! I’m referring anyone who wants to consider electric car to Kearney Mesa VinFast! Before you buy any electric car, go see them first!
