  I’ve been coming to this location for several years now this will be my last visit. Melanie was the person who helped me and she was far from personable. Very rude while collecting my information. I guess everyone has bad days but unfortunately this employee put a bad taste in my mouth for this location and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  Got an oil change in my 2025 new car low miles started randomly leaking oil , car over heated ,white smoke coming from engine , no oil left in engine ,my car is ticking and making noises (clicking) . happened after an oil change , oil is leaking from un tightened filter now , been driving around for 2 days hope my car isn’t damaged . Hopefully my 35k$ new car isn’t ruined by an improper oil change .

  Exceptional service from KD and Kirstie. You were both extremely helpful, concise and professional. I’m definitely coming back here for future oil changes. Shout out to service manager, Javier, and his entire City Hts Valvoline team. Everyone was extremely positive and worked very closely together showing very clear lines of communication. Now, this is what teamwork is all about. So glad for my simple Valvoline Google search. I’ve found a new oil change home. A very satisfied customer, Miguel Cabrera

  Emily, Katie, and Abe were all so helpful and efficient. The last time I came here I was given the standard list of things I need to work on and at the time I couldn’t afford it. But this time I knew I needed to commit and was chatting with Abe about what needed to be done, he was kind and informative, which made me feel more confident in proceeding. Emily and Katie were fast and communicative also gave me hope that I can maybe one day join the field and made me feel welcome in a very male dominated field. Thanks guys, keep doin what you’re doin! This will be my go to spot from now on.

  Really disappointed, got an oil change on the morning of my road trip to Arizona. I threw in the air filter replacement that they mentioned, figured why not. 2 minutes after pulling out and entering freeway my car died on the side of the road. I called them immediately thinking it couldn’t just be a strange coincidence. I appreciated one of the managers meeting me at my car but he was not able to diagnose the problem. I had it towed to my dealership and had to make accommodations for another car to drive for my trip. Upon inspection they found plastic stuck in throttle body. They mentioned that sometimes when replacing an air filter, facilties can break the pipe that fits into the air box if they are not careful, so this was obviously caused by the service I received from Valvoline. After returning from my trip and trying to pick up my car, next was the issue of payment for the repairs. I had a claim started already but it was a long process of getting the payment squared away. I was at the dealership for 2 hours waiting for Valvoline to post the payment. After all the hassle, I inquired about getting a refund as well, but was denied by the area manager, saying they could refund the air filter ($8) but not the oil change ($150) since that was done successfully. Successfully?! They offered me a 50% off coupon instead and I said No. The best they could do was a coupon for a free oil change, which is BS in my opinion I don’t want to go back there. I understand accidents happen, but all you guys did was pay for the damage that YOU caused. A simple refund for all the inconvenience this caused me would have sufficed. I’ve been going there for 8 years now. Thats likely over.
