  I cannot speak for all the locations, but the location on Genese Ave. In San Diego is a joke. There are literally kids working there with little to no experience who are managing the facility. They actually told me things about my car that were completely false. It is disturbing to think in case of an emergency, what would happen. The car next to my bin was trying to have his tires rotated and the employees could not figure out how to lift his car using the hydraulic lift without bending the underside of the car carraige. Not good.

  went for an oil change and asked the worker, Anthony i think his name was, if he could check my left turn signal since it was giving me issues and blinking super fast. offered a test to find and resolve the issue. got my tires rotated and battery replaced since it’s been over five years since i got the car. Awesome service and i appreciate all the patience with such a lengthy service to my car. I did feel bad that I came in early and asked for so much but i’m glad my car is ready for the road with no issues in sight thank you again for the service 10/10 will continue to choose Valvoline.

  I have gone to Valvoline in good faith and trust that they do the job right, I had my brakes worked on today and mechanic noticed residual oil on filter I had declined oil change because I told him I just had it done over a week ago he told me that whoever was installing the oil filter did not install it properly because I had very little oil on dip stick he stated I was needing 1 quart of oil, and if I just changed my oil this should not be happening!!😔 I am SO VERY Disappointed with this place, I was planning a road trip to Vegas had my mechanic not checked my oil and filter I would have been on a long road trip and unknowingly leaking oil which would have led to major issues. NEVER EVER again will I bring my Business here.... Keep in mind buyer beware these are young kids young men that are not certified mechanics, if you're going to get an oil change take it to a certified mechanic that knows what they're doing

  This was one of the worst automotive service experiences I have ever had. During my visit to this Valvoline location, oil was spilled directly onto my carburetor and all over the surrounding engine area. The entire area was left covered in oil, and my carburetor was damaged as a result of the service. I had to take my vehicle to another mechanic to repair the damage and ended up paying approximately $1,000 out of pocket for something that should never have happened in the first place. What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of accountability afterward. Instead of taking responsibility for the damage caused during the service, I was left to deal with the consequences and the repair bill myself. I trusted this location to perform a basic service safely and professionally. Instead, I left with a damaged vehicle, an oil-covered engine area, and a $1,000 expense. I have receipts and documentation from the mechanic regarding the repairs. Based on this experience, I would strongly warn others to think twice before bringing their vehicle to this location.

  I am extremely dissatisfied with the service received from this location. I recently got an oil change about 3 days ago the following day my oil pressure was low. I reached out to corporate and the manager at this location and both said I could drive my car with my oil pressure light on- which does not seem like practical advice. I decided to call a tow because I was not going to potentially cause any damage to my car engine- seems pretty ridiculous that I would be advised to drive my car with the oil pressure light on. Got it towed to the nearest location and turns out the oil filter was put on improperly. Refer to the images attached. I’ve made multiple attempts to reach the manager to seek a reimbursement for the poor job done, but also my time and tow that was needed. I understand some issues may need to be resolved at corporate level but the fact that I have not received a response on an open claim is unacceptable. Please re consider coming to this specific location for an oil change as you may end up with a poorly done oil change or no oil at all.
