  The staff was no hassle and helpful. They hooked me up with the best tires for my cargo van--at the right price! I walked in without an appointment and was completely finished in an hour and a half. The area around the shop has some great restaurants and stores all in walking distance. There's a new Korean market location across the busy street with an asian restaurant area in construction and almost done. Get your tires done, and, even go to Cheetah's if that's your thing. Smoke a cigar in a lounge, eat Michelin Star Ramen, and hunt for cheap objects you don't really need at the Japanese store. So much more in walking distance to this particular location.

  Scheduled a same-day appointment at the Clairemont Mesa location, arrived on time, and found a completely closed store with no staff present and no way to confirm availability in advance. Pretty frustrating experience overall. Had a 10:30 AM wheel alignment appointment scheduled at Tire Choice (8303 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92111) on Sunday, July 5. No mention during scheduling that the location might be closed due to holiday hours. Arrived at the appointment time and the store was completely closed. Doors locked, no employees inside. Called the store number for the Clairemont Mesa location to confirm what was going on and was told the appointment was in the system. After explaining that the location was clearly closed, multiple holds followed with the same response that the store manager was “busy with a customer.” Instead of verifying whether the Clairemont Mesa location was actually open, the only options provided were other locations (Miramar Rd and Rosecrans St). Before proceeding, asked if there was any way to confirm whether the original location was open or staffed. No verification was provided. At that point, there appeared to be no reliable way to confirm store availability without physically driving to each location, which defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. If the store was closed for the holiday weekend, that is understandable. The issue was scheduling and confirming an appointment at a specific location without any practical way to verify whether that location was open. Ended up wasting a significant amount of time driving and on hold for something that could have been avoided with basic communication. This will be the first and last time using Tire Choice.

  If I could give zero stars I would. I used my insurance company to get a tow to this location because google and their listed hours stated they were open on a Sunday. Which there are very few places that are. I travel for work and got a wrench in my tire on a Sunday. The tow truck driver drops my truck off and leaves. It was about 11-11:30 am so I thought ok maybe it’s lunch time. I go over to the smoke shop in the same complex to ask and to find out, they have always been closed on Sundays. That may be an after covid schedule change. So I ended up needing to get another tow. American Tire had the best service I could ask for AND they were open. You as the company need to change the hours on your door and google.

  One of the best tire experience I’ve had in a long time! Had a blow out on my Tesla and needed urgent help. Got a reservation within the hour and within two hours I was back on the road! Guys were super friendly and responsive!
