  As someone who travels frequently, I've experienced my fair share of rental car companies, and SIXT continues to distinguish itself from the competition. The digital rental process was seamless, fast, and convenient. After flying across the country from the East Coast, the last thing I want is to spend additional time at a rental counter. SIXT made getting on the road effortless. My original vehicle was unavailable, so I received a complimentary upgrade to a BMW 2 Series, and what an upgrade it was! Sleek design, beautiful interior, sunroof, and just enough power to make every drive enjoyable. I consider myself a fairly attractive gentleman already, but stepping out of that BMW had me feeling like a professional athlete fresh off signing a multimillion-dollar contract extension! Lol. Let's just say the sun wasn't the only thing shining in San Diego that week. What truly elevated the experience, however, was Phillip when I returned the vehicle. He was kind, courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. That level of customer service deserves recognition because it's the people, not just the vehicles, who distinguish a company from its competitors. In a world where genuine kindness and exceptional service sometimes feel increasingly rare, this experience was a bright spot. I've yet to have a bad experience with SIXT, and this visit only reinforced why I'll continue renting with them. Five stars for the vehicle, the convenience, and especially the people. Phillip, keep up the outstanding work!

  Claire was amazing and made the whole rental process super easy. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. She answered all my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had renting a car, and I really appreciate the customer service she provided.

  Would give no stars if possible this company is scamming their customers they will add damages that were not the customers fault no matter what so they can get the money they are only after looking for damages to scam customers they will book cars that don’t exist so you show up and then they have to give you a different car and make you wait over an hour for a car, or they’ll ask you if you wanna upgrade they’ll say it’s free and then you get charged later why are there bookings for cars that they do not have in stock? They are terrible with customer service most of the employees are extremely rude they do not care about the customer relationship. They are only looking to dollar and dime you even if you were to take video evidence or photos of the cars you’re still gonna get scammed even if you turned in the car five hours ago they could potentially walk over find a stone chip on the window or a scratch on the bumper or a scratch on the rim and they can still add it and charge you They will send you on a wild goose chase going from the third floor to the first floor and back because nobody seems to know what they’re doing and the Cars come dirty sometimes. This location is not honest at all please beware this is not the sixth standard, but this location does not have standards.

  Had a fantastic experience with SIXT at the San Diego Airport branch! We rented a BMW 7 Series, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The employees were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. A special shoutout to the person at the front desk who was especially welcoming and made the rental process quick and easy. Great customer service and a beautiful car made the experience even better. I would definitely rent from SIXT again and highly recommend this location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  One of the worst rental car experiences of my life. They are claiming the car I rented got a stone chip on the windshield which might not actually be there and wants me to pay for damages. There were several marks on the vehicle already there when I picked up the vehicle. The customer support lady was terrible in the damage department and refused to help. Falsely accusing me of causing a stone chip which I did not. Attaching an image of what they claim is a stone chip on windshield but I am still having a hard time understanding if this is just dust. This is an actual image they uploaded on their portal claiming I caused this, you can see what they are claiming is a damage. They don’t have any photos of vehicle when I picked it up. There was no person there when I was driving the vehicle out and nobody handed me a form to mark existing damages. I had the car for one day and a half and there were no incidents and no accidents. I had my parents in the vehicle with me and nothing happened, no stone chips were caused and no damages. I have to now deal with insurance to dispute their false claims as well as my bank to state these people are lying and trying to scam customers to pay for existing damages. I have photos of the car before and after return and no damages were there. Stay away from this company, the worst experience you can ever have and they can falsely claim you damaged the car. I’ve rented cars in San Diego airport for the last 9 years and this is the first time I have had such a terrible experience. Hertz or enterprise would never ever do this to their customers. SIXT is scamming people and think we won’t report them for their fraudulent ways. I want to make sure no one else is ever scammed this way by this company and their representatives.
