  I have spent about 10k with tony over the past years and I feel that I have enough experience with this shop to provide a review. I took my Evolution into this shop due to having a positive experience with my STi back in 2009. My car was removed from storage after about 8 years and needed a good once over. A month after I dropped it off and 2k later, it was on the road. I dropped it off again a month later to get the inner and outer tie rods replaced which again took them a month to replace. This is an afternoon at best and an overnight after it goes into the alignment shop. I had to call about 3 or 4 times to get an update (did once before while the timing belt and other odd and end jobs were getting done) and usually didn't get much. I drove to the shop this time and was told it was at the alignment shop. Got a ride over there and picked up my car. My tie rod ends were still in the back seat. The car tracks strait but I'm kind of wondering what took 28 days. One of the tech's wanted the stock wheels that came with my Evo and I dropped them off with the car for the tie rod ends. We agreed upon a very reasonable price and it has been about 2 months and I have not heard anything back about getting paid for those. I have asked Tony in person (made a special trip there) and he has not called back. It is fine, if that is how transactions are completed at Tony's Lube n Tune I consider the loss of those wheels an investment, as I will not visit this shop with my other cars. Long story short: if you don't mind an insane wait, nobody knowing what is going on and nagging them for updates, you may or may not get your work done. I cant recommend this shop.

  Tony is awesome and he doesn't care if you buy your own parts. They also seem to do a lot of jdm cars

  This is the only place In San Diego where you can trust them. They are never going to rip you off. Great service and fair prices
