  I rent from Enterprise several times a year, so it was an easy choice for my annual San Diego trip. This was also my second time renting from this particular location in Little Italy. I reserved a Mustang convertible and had a really good experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they even helped me get Android Auto working when I was having trouble getting it to show on the car screen. The Mustang itself was fantastic, and I ended up driving it all the way to Joshua Tree and Oatman, Arizona, including part of Route 66. The location is also very convenient, right next to the MTS trolley station. I’d absolutely come back here for another rental when I’m in San Diego.

  Very frustrating experience with Enterprise. My rental was being paid for by State Farm following an accident. I returned the vehicle, and after 8 days Enterprise has still not released my deposit because they claim one additional rental day needs approval. I contacted State Farm directly to confirm and was told that the full rental period was authorized and covered. Despite this, I have contacted Enterprise three separate times and the issue remains unresolved. Each time, I was told to contact State Farm myself. Enterprise accepted this as an insurance rental, and I should not have to repeatedly act as the middleman between the two companies just to get my deposit returned. Very disappointing customer service for something that should have been simple to resolve.

  Reserved a convertible car for the day, but when we got there, the car was unavailable due to a recall. We ended up with a Jeep. Not as comfortable ride, but $10 cheaper.

  The lady who picked me up was incredibly nice and sweet, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the attitude of one of the female staff members was completely the opposite—extremely unwelcoming and lacking in basic courtesy. At one point, I was standing in front of her trying to figure out my options, and she simply walked away while I was still speaking and looking for assistance. That experience made me feel dismissed and uncomfortable. Customer-facing staff should demonstrate patience, empathy, and willingness to assist, especially when someone is clearly looking for help. Unfortunately, this particular staff member displayed none of those qualities. I strongly believe that more training in customer service and empathy would be necessary for someone working directly with customers.

  Zack and Ryan were very friendly, professional, and helpful. The check-in process was very easy and quick. Ryan was welcoming to the city and gave suggestions of places to visit. Zack was very informative on getting to the airport shuttle station. Highly recommend this Enterprise just outside of the airport. In comparison to airport prices and if you have a bit of time, the option to use the shuttle bus with a 0.6mi walk to Enterprise, and vice versa, can help save ~$100! Best service at any car rental business by far!
