  Took them 40 minutes to get me a car with no line and I was late for work. Returning the car was also a whole process. Will not be returning to this branch.

  1333 Camino del Rio S #101, San Diego, CA 92108 The staff at this location have always been friendly and courteous, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing due to ongoing operational and vehicle maintenance issues. It has become common to wait several hours beyond my reserved pickup time because no vehicles are available at the location despite confirmed reservations. On multiple occasions, the vehicles I was eventually given had dashboard warning lights illuminated or displayed maintenance-needed notifications. When I raised these concerns, I was told that the warning lights were "normal" and that maintenance had been completed but the codes had not been reset. As a customer, I find it difficult to accept that warning lights and maintenance alerts on rental vehicles should be considered normal. I also brought these issues to the manager's attention, including the lengthy wait time and the vehicle condition concerns. The only compensation offered was a handwritten note on a business card for 12% off a future rental, which did not feel proportional to the inconvenience experienced. This location used to be my preferred place to rent from, but the repeated lack of vehicle availability, extended wait times, and ongoing concerns about vehicle maintenance have significantly diminished my confidence. While I genuinely appreciate the professionalism of the staff, I am unlikely to rent from this location again unless these issues are addressed. I took photos of the the vehicles dash boards with maintenance needed notifications as they continued to say its "normal " and "we just have to go on in and clear out codes"... since they have no vehicles on the lot to begin with, does that mean Enterprise policy is to clear out maintenance codes without maintenance? Or is it policy to provide poor customer service with un serviced vehicles and only offer 12% off next rental to those that point it out in hopes of repeat bussines? To top it off, after I pointed out all my concerns and un satisfactory experience, the staff referred me to their car sales department, as if I would want to purchase one of their un maintained vehicles?

  I had a very positive experience renting a vehicle from Enterprise. I was treated very well by an employee named Eveen. She was very patient and respectful. After 2 failed attempts at trying vehicles, she successfully directed me to a third vehicle that worked out very well for me. If I ever need to rent a vehicle again, I will be heading down to Enterprise in Mission Valley.
