  Camping world has really great products but the financing was trash. It was so expensive. What the hell. I might as well just beg my credit union to help.

  My goodness where to start. I can walk right through TSA at the airport and even check my guns into luggage easier than I can get in to look at a trailer at this place. As soon as you walk in it begins. I understand sales and them wanting to get contact info but can I at least look at a few trailers first? My wife and I have been RV'ing for over 40 years so I'm pretty sure we have an idea of what we want. Whoever came up with this show an ID before looking at trailers is an absolute sales idiot. So after you pass the initial interrogation you are sent to a room with a salesperson asking what we're looking for. My answer was "We are looking to trade in our driveable for a larger trailer to fit our needs." He asked what we we're looking to spend and i told him our paid off trade in is valued at 72k and we're going up to 100k cash including the trade in. So he goes on to say you will want to look at these that I have picked out. I said how about my wife and I walk around and let YOU know what WE like. We are in our sixties and remember when sales involved listening to the customers desires. My wife said the my husband and I just want to walk around and look for something that fits our needs. Thinking we had finally got a pass into the World we enter the first trailer and as we're talking privately we hear little footsteps walking up the steps. Yes there was our salesman I guess thinking I was going to pick up the trailer and steal it. I would go on with the story but by now you get the point. Word to younger folks getting into RV'ing. Go somewhere else unless you want a horrible first experience in something that should be exciting and fun. Stay far away. The only reason I gave 1 star was for the large US flag.

  My wife and I were first time buyers and had a great experience with Camping World - San Diego. We cannot say enough good things about Martin! Very knowledgeable, understood our needs and didn’t waste time showing trailers out of our budget, never pushy but had valuable input, patient, great with kids, etc. If you want the best, go to Camping World - San Diego and ask for Martin. Better yet, call and make an appointment. He has a loyal customer base and may be busy if you walk in. Andrew in finance and Carlos in Service were also great to work with.
