  I have an 04 Chevy avalanche. I had 3 broken manifold studs. They did an excellent job for a fair price. No drilling or cutting, they did the welding technique wech is the right way. They didn't break any other bolts removing the old manifolds which would have made the job much more expensive. Everything was installed correctly and my truck is running like a dream. Thank you guys

  They are great workers and good for your budget and if something isnt right, they MAKE it right. Hard to find honest mechanics, so this is a rare gem in San Diego.🙏🏿

  Excellent service! Starting with a phone call to ask questions. Tom (owner) was polite, friendly, and informative. He provided us a competitive quote for a resonator and/or muffler delete. He was able to determine business levels and invited us to bring in our car. We brought our 2018 BMW 330e in to the shop and were told to ask for Carlos. Fantastic interaction #2. Carlos took great care in getting us set up. Very professional and friendly. Next, Jose came and introduced himself. He explained our options and provided a very honest recommendation. He even offered to demo a few of the options as he performed the work so we could be confident in our decision. Fantastic service and interaction #3. This is the kind of business where all the staff embrace making the customer comfortable and knowledgeable to understand what the work will entail and what options you have to choose from. They are the experts and share their knowledge, along with honest recommendations. It is not usual to find a business like this, whether it is an auto shop, restaurant, etc. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for any or all of the auto services they offer.

  What a wonderful experience! I had gotten an oil change at another shop who ran a diagnostic on everything needing care on our RAV4 & was told the front brakes were in bad shape. This was about 2 weeks ago. The car was driven only briefly twice and then two days ago the most terrifying sound came from the front driver side wheel that reminded me of when I spent $800 on a U-joint replacement! I had been planning on getting the brakes done this week but now I was worried that there was a bigger problem and began calling around for quotes on the brakes, after the original place I went to for oil change told me $625/side I Googled “best affordable brake shop in SD” and Todd’s shop Budget, popped up. After reading his great reviews I called him up and we chatted for a moment after which he quoted me at most $400/side and said they’d be happy to take a look at my mystery sound. I hopped in the car and drove right over, was seen right away, enjoyed my visit with owner Todd (he has great stories!) and watched customers get excellent service at fantastic prices while I waited. I had my pup with me and she was treated like a special customer as well, they had a water bowl for her & she had a great time too. The first thing they looked at was the mystery sound, now let me say, there are absolutely mechanic shops that will take an opportunity like this to make some money but not these guys! What I thought would be something really expensive turned out to be a rock! Stuck in the struts! They showed me the video & after completing the brakes with full fluid replacement I walked out of there at $325 total! Well under what I was quoted for brakes and not even close to what I feared! Todd handed me the little stone and now not only do I have a pocket rock with a good story, I have an honest mechanic shop for life. Thank you so much to the team (including a really sweet long time customer who helps out around the shop who kept me company & offered the water to my pup!) for everything, I will absolutely be back! And I carry my pen in my purse so I can tell people about you too! (as I drove away, I noticed the mystery sound was gone, Todd had told me to call if there was still a problem & to bring it right back if so, I happily called to report it was indeed the rock lol)
