  I had a great experience with Brent & Christina. They were hopeful, friendly, professional, and worked efficiently. They made the whole process quick and easy while providing excellent customer service. I really appreciated how helpful and courteous they were. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next oil change. Highly recommend!

  Paul, Michael and Brent made sure I was taken care of, communicated absolutely every step with me and gave me tips and feedback where needed. I love this place and highly recommend it. And I was in and out in under 30 min (but had much more than an oil change done). Oil change Tire rotation Radiator flush Fuel treatment All for under $400

  Hey, for some context on this review This was my first time at a Valvoline. I own a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT with a V6 4.0. — I am also a mechanic from the San Clemente Autos Academy, and here are a few points that I’m going to lay out and compare them to how Valvoline did with a 1-10 on their scores in my opinion with a explanation on why — Efficiency 7-10 Customer care 8-10 Honesty 9-10 Upselling 6-10 Handling of vehicle 7.5-10 — Efficiency (Overall, the workflow and how I watched all of the technicians handle the vehicles around each of the bays and balancing the Customers at the moment was very fluid and I could tell that they had a very effective manager and assistant manager) — Customer care (Personally, I like to adhere to customers requests as a technician as I feel it builds a lot of trust and they did that fairly well in my experience) — Honesty (this is always the one part that everybody scared about in and around cars, but I spoke to three different technicians, and they all basically said the same thing about my truck and having a background of knowing my vehicle it was almost perfect with what I had known and I think they did fairly well and conveying the information) — Upselling (yeah, another brutal part of the automotive industry. I did notice that they promoted some of their extra service services but as again it’s a business and they need to make money so I totally understand it, but it was fairly present.) — Handling of vehicle (Nobody likes their toys to be broken. They handled my range with fair care and they treated it better than I would’ve so I can’t really complain in any regard.) — So that’s my brutally honest view of the Valvoline located on Avenida pico my only thing that I have like a note left in my mind about as they forgot to give me the part number for my license plate illuminators but that’s hardly a large concern. Good job Valvoline techs guys are building the industry.

  First time in a Valvoline thanks to a co-worker that recommended this place. Instantly greeted by Michael with great hospitality and proceeded with a quick headlight inspection. Paul then continued the experience with good communication and explaining everything in great detail. Jay performed the oil change and communicated with his team and I every step of the way. Overall pretty cool first experience, will definitely be my go-to spot for oil changes and any other car needs.

  I stopped into the San Clemente/Pico Valvoline for a very over due oil change. These guys were very busy but they all were very attentive to every customer. Even those who were not working in our ‘lane’ were very polite, confirming if anyone had communicated with us yet, offered cold water. Special shout out to Paul, Abel and ….. I forgot his name but again, what a great experience for a less than fun responsibility. Great communication between the team members. Friendly, helpful. Will definitely return to this location.
