We get all our cars smogged at Planet Smog… because of the service.. the owner knows his stuff and understands we want to be in and out asap! I had an older vehicle that we didn’t drive much that possibly had a O2 oxygen sensor issue.. he instructed us on the steps to take and got us on our way! I recommend him!

ONE WORD...AMAZING!! I never thought I'd be writing a review for a smog check place... yet here I am writing one for Planet Smog and Sean!! We had such an AMAZING experience I was compelled to post a review. Yes...I said it...AMAZING. We drove away wondering , "Was that for real??! What just happened?!" Having been a driver for decades, I've had my fair share of having to do smog checks. Most smog check places, you're dealing with neutral (at best) sometime grumpy, non-communicative techs. Sean was the opposite! He gave us cold bottled waters and even Belgium chocolates while we waited!! YES...you read that right!! Cold bottled water and BELGIUM CHOCOLATES!! The two of were wondering if this was a smog check with Ritz Carlton-like service! lol. Our wait was so short...only 5 mins. If there are ever cars ahead of you, you won't wait long because Sean is super efficient and details and does everything within minutes. He even doubled checked out DMV paperwork and provided us with a certificate. With the smog check and paperwork, we were were literally out of there in 5 mins. Sean was super friendly and smiled...so awesome to work with!! His customer service level was so high that when we were backing out our car after the test was done, he even walked out into the street to let us know if there were any cars coming. Who does that??!! INSANELY thoughtful. Wish we could give Sean 10 STARS!!! Also, their pricing was very competitive. Will DEFINITELY be going back again when our car is up for another check. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, RECOMMEND!!

I have been coming here for years and they are ALWAYS the best! Kind, attentive, and the cold water bottle and chocolate on a hot day don’t hurt either! This is hands down the best place in town!!

They are awesome! Super friendly and welcoming! It was done so quick. They offered us bottles of water, chocolate, and even let my grandson who is two pick out a hot wheels car to take home. They guided us out of the driveway to make sure we made it out safely. By far my best experience of getting a car smog tested.
