- YYYiznetAug 2, 20261.0I had the most horrible and traumatic experience in this gas station. We were filling up our tanks and I politely asked if I can use the restroom. He said is for employees only, for what I kindly said that I was a patient with a disability that required immediate access to the restroom. I informed him that Under California's Restroom Access Act (often called Ally's Law), retail businesses open to the public that have employee toilet facilities must allow individuals with eligible medical conditions like inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) to use them. He was extremely rude and condescending and was not willing to hear me. I informed him I had a letter from my doctor and could show it to him, for what he started to scream at me to leave. He said his name was Bobby. I’m definitely not coming here again and will file this interaction. It’s okay to not know something, but being kind and being willing to learn can go a long way. Hope this is a sign for his employer to provide proper trainer to his employees
