  Terrible service: starting with a staff member having a full-blown personal conversation with another customer while there was a line of about 6 to 7 people waiting. No one said anything; everyone just waited. I needed to purchase a battery for my car key alarm. Then I asked the rep what I needed, but that I couldn't open the box. He took it, looked at it, and said, "Oh no, I don't know how to open it." So I asked, "Does anybody know how to open it?" He said, "Yes, but they're busy." So I waited until a customer standing in line looked it up on YouTube and helped. Then I looked at the rep and told him, "This is the battery I need." Again, he said, "Oh, you have to get it." Again, the customer in line helped me to figure out what battery I needed. So I proceeded to make my purchase but couldn't open the package. I asked another rep to help me open it, and he walked away. So I was struggling to open the package, and again, the customer that was waiting in line stepped in and told the rep, "She asked if you could help her, but you walked away." So for a short period, he kept arguing that I did ask for help throughout the back and forth until he ended up opening the package, but it was the customer waiting in line that completely assisted me. So with all that said, this has had to be the worst customer service ever experienced at AutoZone. Young LAZY LAZY LAZY! kids that don't know how to earn a living doing a job they are paid to do. And another thing I pointed out to the rep that rang me up: I asked him, "You didn't ask me for my number for my points." He said, "Oh no, that's when you make a bigger purchase over..." (mumbled). My suggestion is AutoZone needs to hire experienced and helpful workers, period, regardless if the customers are young ladies or seniors.
