  This review is long overdue. I purchased a 560SL in Sacramento and, since I’m from Los Angeles, I needed to make sure the car was safe to drive back home. I called Three Points Star Motor before my trip, and they were able to fit me in with just a day’s notice, which I really appreciated. Before driving it down to LA, I wanted to have it checked out and make sure everything was in good shape. When I first drove the car, I could tell it needed some fluids, so after the sale I brought it to Three Points Star. From the moment I walked in, Eduardo was welcoming and professional. The shop was super clean and had Mercedes-Benz photos, artwork, and memorabilia throughout, which immediately gave me confidence I was in the right place. I briefly explained what I needed with the car, and Eduardo had it brought into the garage right away for an inspection. About 45 minutes later, he walked me through the condition of the suspension, brakes, and radiator in detail. The newly purchased car needed some TLC, but Eduardo assured me it was a good car and gave me a clear picture of what needed attention right away. He also showed me his R-107, which had a Stuttgart sticker on it. We talked about his time in Stuttgart, Germany, where he spent time getting continued training on Mercedes-Benz cars. Then he opened one of his shop drawers and gave me a Stuttgart sticker for my 560SL. I told him my other classic is a Porsche 964 with a Stuttgart badge, and he said, “I’ll give you another one for that car too.” That small gesture really stood out to me. Long story short, Eduardo and his team made sure my 560SL was road-worthy and safe for the nearly 400-mile drive back to Los Angeles. Before I left, Eduardo went line by line through what the car needed immediately and even printed everything out for me with pricing so I’d have a ballpark idea of the costs. He also told me that if I ever need advice on a repair, I can call him and he’ll help me evaluate things so I can make the right decision. I’ve met a lot of mechanics over the years, and I can tell Eduardo is someone I can trust. Thank you again for all your help that day. I’ll definitely be reaching out when the time comes.
