A mobile technician did a shoddy job replacing my windshield, resulting in a stress crack and my rain sensor not working. Brought it in to a safelite shop to get it evaluated for a warranty replacement and my rain sensor properly reinstalled, which they approved. They told me I can book an appointment at any Safelite to get it replaced, so I booked it here as its most convenient for me. In the time between then and my appointment, the crack got bigger, and now the technician here is saying there's impact damage after re-evaluating a already evaluated crack and decided there was impact damage after he and at least 3 other technicians have been scratching at it over the course of 2-3 weeks and denied my warranty service. If I knew they were going to just hand wave off another Safelite locations evaluation and approved warranty service, I would have just stuck with and booked the original (albeit inconvenient) location instead of taking a day off and waste my time here. I even had photos before the crack expanded to cover my entire windshield but no, evidence is pointless here. Edit: I usually dont give 1 star reviews, but since since the owner decided to reply, I'll spell it out for you. 1. Technician installed windshield, stress crack formed. Warranty claim process was started. 2. Shop inspected crack and deemed it as a stress crack, warranty replacement approved. 3. Crack gets larger between inspection and service appointment. Photo evidence exists of the windshield without the "new damage" expanded crack after the claim process was started. 4. Approved warranty replacement gets denied because of "new damage"? What's stopping a technician from poking and picking at a crack until some glass chips off and claiming it as "new damage" on every previously approved warranty replacement? I'd go on with my opinions on this topic but thats a continued waste of my time, on top of the time I already spent trying to have service done at this facility.

Cindy is extremely rude and unprofessional. Terrible management I will never do business with Safelite because of Cindy. So many professional shops in the area that do better work. Do not waste your time here

Overall I had a good experience. There was a small issue with the timing (on how long it took when I was there) but the delay was due to the fact that a car before me was taking longer than usual to calibrate. The technician was taking care that everything was done correctly for the person ahead of me, as well as for me when it was my turn. The point I'm trying to get across is that the technician was taking the necessary time to do things right and was not cutting any corners. I appreciated that.
