  100 terrible service. I should have known better after no call no show and excuses why no call to let us know. I drove my car the next day and I adjusted the rear view mirror. Seriously?! the mirror fell off along with two plastic housing pieces. Parked the car and left the mirror dangling. Customer service was ZERO help. Store manager said that my mirror and plastic pieces were already broken. The old “it was like that when we got here” story. Nothing from tech about anything broken, nothing on my receipt about preexisting broke pieces even though my mirror was perfectly fine before they worked on it. Again, customer service was all but useful. Just completely useless. Now I have to drive my car with a dangling mirror to get it repaired. I strongly suggest you find someone else to do the work.

  This bad review is for customer service, not the quality of windshield replacement. Ironically I chose this location instead of the one in SF because the reviews were better. The day before my appointment someone called to confirm that i was showing up at 6 am. They were blunt and also asked me to have a 3/4 fill tank of gas. Huh? I thought the lady was rude but didn’t think much of it. The next day I showed up at 6 am for the scheduled appointment. Nobody was there. There is no way to call the shop itself. I called my insurance company and they tried but nobody answered. I had to have my windshield replaced that day because I had a long trip to go on in the afternoon. Finally another customer and a repairman showed up at 7 am. He started on my car before the 7 am customer and was even apologetic that the other serviceman didn’t show up at 6. He also had to put a $75 fee on the bill for some other part that I didn’t want and my insurance wouldn’t pay for (wipers or silicone or something - I had brand new wipers already). He couldn’t remove that cost without a manager. So when I picked up (repair was done quickly if you don’t count waiting the extra hour) the presumed manager was rude and never apologized and handed me the keys without a word. Didn’t look up or act like I was being taken care of when I entered. Then I had to ask whether the extra charge had been taken off, she didn’t offer. I just felt like if you hate your job and hate people then maybe don’t work in the front office. And show up on time. Poor experience.

  The Safelight team was amazing. Two separate vehicles needed new windshields and the installers did an excellent job. Fast, friendly, and quality service.
