I went here for a simple oil change,the total was just under 100 dollars for the service and that was reasonable. However,over the last 3 days I now see oil leaking around my drain plug so I will be fixing that myself. Oil leaks after a basic oil change only happen when the job is rushed and can be caused by the following: Loose or Faulty Drain Plug: If the plug at the bottom of the oil pan wasn't tightened correctly or its crush washer (the small metal seal) was not replaced, it will seep oil. Loose Oil Filter: If the oil filter was not spun on tightly enough or was cross-threaded, oil will leak around the seal. Overfilling: If your engine was filled with too much oil, the excess pressure can force oil past seals and gaskets. Typically I would go back to the shop that did the job to have the issue addressed,however since I am now over a hour away from this location. I will fix the mistake that was made by the staff at this location myself. I will not be going back to this location for any service,cause if you can't probably do a oil change,I wouldn't trust any mechanic here to do things like replace belts,replace a alternator or starter etc..
