    I was disappointed with the customer service I received over the phone from Enterprise. The representative’s tone felt dismissive, she repeatedly said “mhm” while I was speaking, and she laughed during the conversation. It made the call feel unprofessional and rude. I expected better customer service from a company like Enterprise.

    ​We had a wonderful experience with Enterprise! Ali went above and beyond to make sure my loved one got the right sedan for the week. The car itself was super clean and drove great. With a great inventory and an easy return process, it was completely stress-free.

    So I unfortunately had an accident and my car was going to be in shop for a week or so. My bad luck turned into good luck when I called this Enterprise. I spoke first with Haydee who first asked: "are you ok?" That in itself was a welcoming surprise. CARE and COMPASSION! After I told her the story, she took care of setting me up with top shelf care, coordination and options. Her clarity on the whole rental from start to finish was exemplary as well. I had to call and modify my rental a couple times and spoke to Ali, Edwin and Marcus at different times and they all were just as top shelf as Haydee. There is no other rental spot I, or my family, will go to for the times a rental may be needed. Why can't all rental places have a solid team of professionals with big hearts like this Enterprise? CHANGE NOTHING. You're the best!

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent rental experience from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Reseda. I have been renting vehicles from Enterprise since 1995, and in more than 30 years of doing business with the company, this was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. When picking up the vehicle, I decided to pay extra for an upgrade to a Land Rover, expecting a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for my wife and me. Unfortunately, that was not the case. At first, the vehicle appeared clean and odor-free. However, shortly after beginning our drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea, we turned on the air conditioning and were immediately overwhelmed by a strong cigarette smoke odor coming through the vents. It was obvious that the vehicle had been smoked in by a previous renter, and the smell had not been properly addressed before it was rented out again. My wife and I are both very sensitive to cigarette smoke, and what should have been a relaxing five-hour road trip became an extremely unpleasant experience. The odor was so severe that it ultimately disrupted our travel plans. Rather than endure another long drive in the vehicle, I had to purchase a last-minute flight home for my wife, while I drove the Land Rover back myself. As a result, I spent a total of approximately ten hours driving a vehicle that smelled like an ashtray every time the air conditioning was running. This was especially frustrating considering I paid extra for an upgraded vehicle and expected a higher standard of quality and comfort. When I contacted Enterprise to report the issue, the employee I spoke with immediately asked whether the odor became noticeable when the air conditioning was turned on. The speed and specificity of that question gave me the impression that the problem may have already been known. While I cannot say for certain whether that was the case, it certainly raised concerns. The employee offered to credit me for one day of the rental. While I appreciated the gesture, it fell well short of addressing the impact this situation had on our trip. Because the condition of the vehicle made it impossible for my wife to continue traveling in it, I incurred a significant additional expense by having to purchase a flight home for her. Given the circumstances, I expected a much more meaningful effort from Enterprise to make things right. I have rented vehicles for many years and understand that occasional issues arise, but a vehicle with a significant cigarette smoke problem should never be placed back into service without proper remediation. This experience was inconvenient, uncomfortable, costly, and far below the level of service I have come to expect from Enterprise. After more than three decades as a loyal Enterprise customer, I never expected to have an experience like this. I hope Enterprise takes steps to improve its vehicle inspection and cleaning procedures, as well as its response when customers encounter serious issues, so future renters do not have to go through a similar experience.
