Absolutely ridiculous. I booked a reservation online for a 15 seater van since my family would be traveling together to attend the cremation of my grandfather. The booking stated that it would reserve the car and payment could be made at point of pickup. The time to pick up came, I called to make sure the van was available, lo and behold, it was not. What was the point of booking a reservation? Why weren’t we notified beforehand so we could make other arrangements?

I had a one-day reservation on Sunday, May 10 for a full-sized sedan to pick up in the morning right after opening. When I arrived, it was about a 10 minute wait to get service. Once I got to the counter, they took down my information and passed me off to another employee to get the car. He offered several much smaller sedan options (e.g. Toyota Corolla, which is a midsize sedan), without mentioning that they were a downgrade. I declined these options. After about 5 minutes of back-and-forth, he offered a pickup truck, which I was willing to accept if it came alongside a discount for the extra gas money required, but then he said he actually could not rent a pickup truck to me since I was under 25. Eventually, he offered a Hyundai Kona compact SUV--still less trunk space than the full-size sedan, and less fuel efficient--but I accepted the offer. It then took about 45 minutes to get the car detailed and ready to go, with several other customers waiting for detailing before me. The staff mentioned that only one of their detailers had shown up for work that morning. Eventually, when I got the car, it was in good condition, other than the wireless Apple CarPlay not working very well. It was very clean, drove nicely, and seemed well-maintained. All told, the car was good, but it was not the car I reserved, and I had to wait over an hour after arriving to get the car. All the employees were polite and respectful. Still, with the long wait and missing car that I reserved, I hope my next experience is better.

I am writing to share my experience regarding my Mid-May rental about how Enterprise mistakenly charged me twice for one rental. Night before my pick-up, I checked in online and upload my credit card info. At pick-up, besides the real rental amounts was electronically activated due to the previous upload to the official website, during my stay in the local shop waiting for the pick-up, another physical ( they had my card collected on-site) amounts USD 102.01 was also charged according to my instant banking app notification. None of the staff in the shop can explain what happened, even worse, they ended up told me:probably disappear in a few days.... When returned, the mysterious USD 102.01 still intact, so I raised my suspicion to the front desk suspecting that is it possible they mistakenly swiped my card for other customer's payment and because of the passive response and zero help I can get from the Enterprise, I had to dispute the payment with my bank and my card will be suspended immediately. Three weeks later, my bank told me the Enterprise hasn't refund or respond the disputed USD 102.0, however, they initiated another independent refund for USD 100.91.....I had to file another dispute for the inconsistency. As a foreign tourist, I am so regret to trust the Brand Enterprise... I will find time to conduct online chat with headquarter customer service even though I may still ended up again with awful customer experience.
