    I rented a Tahoe (premium suv) from the Rancho Cordova location for my daughter's long-awaited 10th birthday trip. The problems started immediately when the vehicle smelled strongly of urine. I was promised a replacement and a call from the manager that same day, but no one ever called. The following evening, the Tahoe developed serious mechanical problems. The climate control became stuck blasting 78-degree heat, and multiple warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, indicating safety system issues. Roadside assistance directed me to the airport location and assured me a comparable SUV would be available. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I was initially offered a Nissan Rogue, which was nowhere near comparable to a Tahoe and far too small for our family and luggage. After waiting about 30 minutes, I was offered a Pathfinder, but it still wasn't equivalent to what I had reserved or paid for. During my wait, I watched larger SUVs become available, but an employee told me they weren't available because I "wasn't a customer of the airport location." I was also told that my need for a larger vehicle was simply a "preference," which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Because of the vehicle issues, our trip was delayed. What should have been a special birthday celebration became stressful, costing us both time and additional expenses. I was forced to go back to the Rancho Cordova location in hopes of a comparable vehicle. One was found within about an hour of waiting at the location. Unfortunately, despite requesting multiple manager callbacks throughout the rental, no one contacted me. The communication problems only continued after I returned the vehicle. I disputed incorrect billing that increased my reservation by nearly $400 and was repeatedly told that a manager would call me back. Over the course of several weeks, I made multiple calls to customer service, was promised callbacks by branch management and regional management, and never received any of them. Eventually, after locating the branch's direct number myself and stating I would escalate the matter further, the manager finally called. I was told nothing could be done except offering one complimentary rental day in the future. My request for a partial refund was denied. The manager was able to email my invoice immediately, despite the fact that I had never received one when my rental closed and had repeatedly requested it. The most frustrating part wasn't just the dirty vehicles, the mechanical failure, or even the billing concerns. It was the complete lack of communication and empathy. I was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. At one point, I was told internal notes showed attempts had been made to contact me, yet my phone records show no missed calls from Enterprise. This raises concerns over ethical behavior and adherence to legal requirements with rentals in California. I’ll never rent with Enterprise again.

    I've been renting at this branch for awhile now. I love the customer service they provide. Jordyn, Drew and Victor have great customer service skills. The team here aim to please. I really think this branch is the best. Jordyn makes sure the customer are happy with the car choices. The best team.

    Made a reservation, drove all the way there, and there were no cars. They didn’t call me, nothing. Really poor management and disorganized staff

    Enterprise staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful every step of the way. I called on a Friday to arrange a rental pick up for the following Monday. The rental car was ready as promised. The car was in great condition, but the fuel tank was almost empty. I was allowed to return it in the same condition. Enterprise worked with me to adjust the amount of rental time while my personal vehicle was in the repair shop, alleviating some of my stress. After my vehicle repairs were completed, Enterprise kindly offered me the option of leaving the rental car at the body shop to be picked up, or they could shuttle me to the body shop, which is very convenient to the customer and greatly appreciated. The entire rental process was easy and efficient due to the kind staff. I would use Enterprise Rent-A-Car again.

    I am writing on behalf of my brother regarding a current rental van reservation approved through AAA. We encountered a significant issue trying to return the vehicle to the Rancho Cordova location before 9:00 PM on Sunday. The facility was entirely locked, preventing us from completing the drop-off. Furthermore, we understand the location is closed on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday, leaving us with no clear way to return the vehicle. We received no prior communication regarding after-hours return restrictions or holiday closures for this location. We have attempted to contact both the Airport location and AAA to resolve this and extend the rental agreement, but we have been unable to reach a representative. Who is responsible to clarify the standard procedure for holiday and weekend returns? An advise on how we should proceed without incurring extra fees?
