  ⭐☆☆☆☆ I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Porterville, CA. My family reserved a 12-passenger van for an 8:00 a.m. pickup so we could leave early for a family trip to LEGOLAND. We arrived around 8:10 a.m., only to find that the van was not even ready. While waiting, we were informed for the first time that a traditional credit card—not a Mastercard debit card—was required to rent the vehicle. This requirement was never disclosed when we made the reservation or when my husband visited the branch the week before to confirm all of the rental details. We asked whether there were any alternatives, including paying in full or allowing Enterprise to place a substantial security deposit on our debit card, but we were told there were none. Trying to save our family trip, we contacted our 22-year-old daughter, who has a credit card. The employee assisting us told us she could rent the van and that we would simply pay a $25-per-day young driver fee. We agreed and asked her to drive to the branch. While we were waiting, the branch manager approached us. After asking our daughter's age, he told us she could not rent the van because she had to be at least 25 years old. This directly contradicted what his own employee had just told us. When we pointed out the conflicting information, the manager responded, "Well, he doesn't know that. Only I know that." Hearing a manager admit that only he knew the policy was alarming. Customers should be able to rely on employees to provide accurate information, especially after making a reservation and confirming it in advance. Throughout the interaction, the manager repeatedly tried to convince us to rent two minivans instead of the 12-passenger van we had reserved, even though the van we reserved wasn't ready when we arrived. Instead of helping resolve the situation, we felt pressured to change our reservation. As a result of the delays, conflicting information, and lack of preparation, our family lost valuable vacation time and had to change our plans. What should have been an exciting morning with our children became stressful and frustrating. This experience reflected poor communication, inconsistent customer service, and a lack of staff training. I hope Enterprise addresses these issues so other families do not experience the same frustration.

  If your looking to rent a car out I would recommend coming here. The first time I came here I was helped by Kevin. Very polite and very professional. I had to renew my contract with them and it was fast and simple. After the few times coming here and meeting all the other workers to they always been nice. Whenever Kevin isn't in the other worker omar always helps me out and gets things done quick for me to. Very polite and helpful and very down to earth. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars. This is the enterprise I'll stay coming to every time. Thanks a lot guys appreciate you always.
