We were traveling back to Fresno from SF and realized we got large plastic bag caught under the car and it melted onto the axel and exhaust. We stopped in Pleasanton for gas and saw the bag melted under the car. We looked online to see any nearby auto repair were open on a Saturday and called Harry’s to see if they could help. They said come in right away and they’ll take care of it. The staff was incredibly nice and understanding that we were trying to get home and they fixed the problem within the hour for a very reasonable price! 10/10 would recommend for your car care needs it’s nice to find shops like this that really care about doing the right thing!

We brought an older jetta Volkswagen with a muffler issue. They were so helpful and honest. They sent us to the right shop. We live close by and we will definitely be back .

Needed a couple hoses replaced to pass smog, they did it on the spot in about 15 mins. Appreciate the honesty and quick turnaround. Friendly, straightforward guys would recommend.

Updated review: ----------------------- Charlie from Harry's has called me to make things right. I appreciate your honesty and for sorting things out. ----------------------- Harry’s Auto Repair has lost me as a customer. I have been coming here for many years and always received good service, but today was a complete disappointment. I brought my car in around 8:00 AM for a routine oil change and was told it would take a couple of hours and that they would call me for pickup. By 2:30 PM, having heard nothing, I called to check in—it went straight to voicemail. I called every 10 minutes for the next hour with the same result. Finally, I decided to just walk in around 4:40 PM, assuming the car had to be ready. It wasn't. They hadn't even started it and didn't bother to give me a courtesy call. I needed the vehicle to commute to work the next day. Their excuse was that they were having phone line issues. We aren't living in the 2000s anymore—if the shop lines are down, use a cell phone to notify your customers. Poor communication and zero accountability.
