  I rented a car this past weekend. I scheduled a reservation ahead of time and my wait might have been 15 minutes longer to receive help but no biggie. If your service is good and the business is successful, I can understand a brief day. The cars are really nice at the Lincoln Ave location in Pasadena. The staff is very polite and professional. Should I need a rental in the future, if they are still located at the same place, that is exactly where I am heading.

  Rude staff, completely disorganized with no communication with other location that had my appointment. Car was here for some reason so had to come to this location only to be delayed further and treated disrespectfully like it was my fault the car wasn’t where it was supposed to be.

  Overall, I had a good experience with this Enterprise location. The staff were friendly, the rental process was straightforward, and I actually received a car that I liked even more than the one I had originally booked. Returning the car was also quick and hassle-free. The only stressful part was picking up the car. My payment kept getting declined, and I was told it was because my bank card was both a credit and debit card, which the system supposedly couldn’t accept. After several unsuccessful attempts, another employee took a look and showed me the actual error message, which clearly indicated that my own bank was blocking the transaction. It turned out that, as a European visiting the U.S. for the first time, my card was still restricted to Europe. I changed the region in my banking app in a few seconds, and the payment went through immediately. I really appreciate the second employee for taking the time to investigate instead of assuming the cause. That saved what could have been a major problem, as finding another rental on a Saturday would have been very difficult and expensive. One tip for international travelers: if you’re visiting from Europe, make sure your card is enabled for use in the U.S. before picking up your rental. The only thing I’m still waiting on is the release of the deposit, and I noticed an additional authorization during the rental that I don’t yet understand. Hopefully, that resolves automatically. Aside from that, I would happily rent from this location again.

  When I needed to book a large car for an extended family trip, I was panicked by all the reviews online (across all car companies) about people showing up and having no car. I made sure I was super proactive to help myself and dropped into Enterprise (on Lincoln) a week prior as well as called them the day before and went to pick up the car just after opening at 830am. Across all those times, staff were lovely and confirmed that I was all set. Once I went to pick up the vehicle the process was quick and easy and I drove out with the large car I needed. Really happy with my experience here and will use again. *Knowing how the car rental biz works these days, I'd also take steps to check in on your car before the pick-up date, and pick up at the closest time to opening as possible.
