  Jakob is our sale person who is very friendly, helpful and does go out of his way to help. He is also very prompt, responsive. The Palo Alto Volvo dealership is very upfront with the price and discount. David and Matthew were also very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this dealership.

  Worst experience today at the service center. After calling in multiple times I had got an appointment which was almost 2 months out. There were no earlier appointment. I had double confirmed with them about the parts availability as I was coming from far. I showed up today for my appointment and then they mentioned they don’t have parts needed to fix my recall. Absolutely disconnected staff and poor customer service.

  Very disappointed with the Service Department at Palo Alto Volvo. I don't know if they are understaffed or undertrained, but they have no concept of service and follow up. On April 19th, my 2024 XC60's electronics were acting up so I called for a service appointment. June 6th was the first appointment available. strike one. On April 26th, the problems escalated and the check engine light went on. I called service on the 27th and was told to "just bring it in". Knowing that they are fully booked I asked for a call back from a service advisor to be sure the car would be looked at right away and discuss next steps. No one called. Strike two. I called back on the 29th and 30th and was told it had been escalated and someone would call me back. It's May 6th and still no one has called back. Strike 3. On Friday the May 1st, I called Dublin Volvo and was told to bring it in first thing on Monday. They fixed the car that day and tested it the next morning. They offered a loaner (something PAV does not do). Because of their location, Dublin is a little further away but they are much easier to get to than PAV. I am done with Palo Alto Volvo.

  I was in the market for a used Volvo XC40 and had a horrible experience at another non-Volvo dealer (NOT Palo Alto Volvo) Palo Alto Volvo and especially Joshua Gamurot who helped me with my purchase were wonderful and made the car-buying experience a dream. Joshua was so patient and helpful throughout the entire process, I really appreciated how I *never* felt pressured to buy anything, even after test-driving and taking a day to decide before buying. He was genuine and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the specific XC40 I ended up with. Even the actual buying process wasn’t stressful, and only took about an hour! (which if you’ve ever bought at a dealer before, you know the process can take multiple hours) I’m super happy with my purchase and will be recommending Palo Alto Volvo and Joshua to anyone I know who is looking for a new car. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

  This dealership has provided me with one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had. Joshua was a great help. I was not local but he helped me via many friendly and responsive emails. I only spent 10 minutes in the dealer at pick up. The Model I ended up purchasing was the lowest priced in the nation for this specific super rare configuration. All it took was some emails and a bank wire. I arranged to fly into SFO and drive the car home. Dealership sent me an Uber at the airport and had the car ready and FULLY GASSED UP! This might be a small detail but I've purchased many cars where the dealer refused to provide that. I know where my next McLaren and Volvo will come from.
