I would not rent from Alamo at Palm Springs Airport again. After returning the vehicle, I was contacted about a cracked/chipped windshield claim even though the chip was already there before I picked up the car. Now I’m being asked for insurance information and dealing with a claims process over damage that was pre-existing. If you rent here, take extremely detailed photos and videos of the entire vehicle before leaving the lot and again at drop-off — especially the windshield. Document every scratch, chip, and mark because it could save you a major headache later. Very disappointing experience overall.

Asked for a Jetta, got a crappy Malibu with body damage instead! This thing didn't have enough power to punch itself out of a wet paper bag....... Still, at least there was no line, and pickup at noon Sunday and drop-off at 9 Friday were quick, so 1 extra star just for the attendants. Told the attendant about my issues, and she said Alamo would take 2 days off my rental price. Nice! They did not take anything off. Charged full price for a dirty, smelly, rattling, pokey Malibu. Is this Rent-A-Wreck???? If so, it's overpriced. NOTE TO THE "ISABELLA" PR RESPONSE-BOT: Yes, I've contacted customer-support, and left a message. What are my chances they respond, oh great AI persona?? UPDATE: After 3 days, I had to call Alamo, and a day later got a partial refund. So, at least they aren't liars. Still, don't expect to get what you order with Alamo....Never again!!!!

Was charged for additional days. I did a one way rental from Palm Springs airport to LAX. At LAX it was after hours and they’re process is to just drive up they take the car and you jump on the shuttle to LAX. Fast forward a few days I’m out of the country and I get a message from Alamo that it’s “almost time to return my rental”. Even though I had already returned it. Called customer service explained the situation, they told me they understand and it may take some time but they would handle it. It’s now over a month now and I randomly get a statement for over $2000 and my original rental should have been $86 and never got any explanation about my open investigation.

The rating should allow no Star rating.!! The rental vehicle was not serviced properly as when when I left the lot 5 minutes later we could not see out the dirty front window in the sun within half a day two of the tires showed low tire pressure 8-10 pounds below safety there was no windshield fluid in reservoirs that evening it showed up as a low fluid alert. Tire went flat had a screw in it which would have been investigated if pre inspection had shown low air alerts in Two tires . had to have only spare put on could not go on highway due to distance restriction. Lost half a day in Disneyland waiting for Alamo to only pass off to other locations who said they could not help me until I contacted Enterprise myself and got caring and professional service with a low mileage vehicle and safe vehicle to return to Palm Springs. I would not recommend Alamo to rent from.

What is the purpose of reserving a vehicle type, if you just rent everything on the lot first-come-first-serve? Other than the fact that I was "expected" to rent a vehicle with ALAMO on April 13, nothing mattered as far as advanced booking, or any advanced booking options. Replying to emails that ask you to "pre-register" and "skip the line", are an absolute waste of time. I can't believe I am.spending my time right now, in fact, to have to complain about this. What a waste... I will not rent from ALAMO at PSP again. No smear on the time.folks who work at the airport and do ther best to accommodate the busy crowds. This is 100% a corporate issue. My wait to get this vehicle was nearly an hour. Why did I reserve? I would rather take UBER! As evidence in their lack of customer care, I will be shockingly surprised if I get a response to this reply.
