  PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! The customer representative in the picture would not provide to me his business card so I said in response that "I will have to take your picture for my review." He then stated "I feel threatened and I am going to call the cops on you." From the start, when I walked in the representative did not greet me at all. He looked at me, the only one in the office, and looked down. I told him I have a reservation but long story short, apparently it did not come up in the system nor did I receive an email confirmation on my phone. So I called in my reservation in the office. Once I was done, I looked around and found someone who said that he would help me. So I looked outside and saw him washing a car with someone and I asked could one of them help me. He looked at me with a very angry look and yelled "Get back inside I'll be there!" Once inside, I thought I should calmly let him know that he frightened me by yelling at me and he didn't have to do that." He replied, "the blowers were on." I said "but still.." The he said "You know what I am not renting a car to you!" And I said "Why?" And he said "I didn't do anything unethical!" Then I said "Well, I have to make a report, what is your name?" He answered the phone and then put the caller on hold and said "What do you need?" and I said "I need your business card for my report." Then he said "No." Then I said "I will have to take your picture for my review." He then stated "I feel threatened and I am going to call the cops on you." He put me in a very dangerous position because I had to walk back to the repair shop where my BMW 650i was getting a new alternator and the street of the Enterpirse location is known for drug addicts and prostitution. My mother died 4 days ago and my Dad died 5 months ago and I dedicated my life to caring for them so I have no friends to drive me back home while my car is being repair. When the customer representative said he was going to call the police on me. That was a death sentence because I am an African American woman on foot in a very bad part of town. The police may come thinking that I am violent and on drugs and take me to jail. Then I would have to walk home from jail as a woman with no protection. I advise Enterprise to not hire people with a short fuse that get made at people especially young women that have to go out walking in a bad area of the city because they were refused to rent a vehicle.

  Disappointing experience renting from Enterprise in Port Hueneme When I declined the insurance, the employee asked if I was willing to take on the risks and if I was okay with them coming after me for payment in case of any damage. The way she said it felt very unprofessional and like she was trying to scare me into buying coverage. I understand she was trying to make sure I was certain about declining their insurance in case something happened, but there are more professional ways to say these things. While I was inspecting the car for dents and damage, she asked me to sign so she could attend another customer. The car was not full of gas. She said it had a quarter tank, but the gauge was nearly empty (I took photos). It’s quite inconvenient to pick up cars without a full tank, because when you refuel you have to carefully avoid putting less or more gas so you don’t get charged extra or end up giving away free fuel. I have Emerald Elite status with National. I understand they are different companies, but they are sister brands. As a loyal customer who rents many cars from them, I expected a bit more recognition or value for that loyalty. There’s no National location here, so I had to use Enterprise, yet my status and loyalty were completely ignored. Unpleasant experience overall. Experiencia decepcionante rentando con Enterprise en Port Hueneme Al declinar el seguro, la empleada me preguntó si yo estaba dispuesto a asumir los riesgos y si estaba de acuerdo con que ellos se vinieran en contra mía para cobro en caso de cualquier daño. La manera en que lo dijo me pareció muy poco profesional y como si estuviera tratando de asustarme para que comprara la cobertura. Entiendo que ella estaba tratando de asegurarse de que yo estuviera seguro de declinar su aseguranza por si acaso pasaba algo, pero hay maneras más profesionales de decir las cosas. Mientras yo revisaba que el carro no tuviera golpes ni daños, me apresuró que firmara para poder atender a otra persona. El carro no tenía el tanque lleno. Dijo que tenía 1/4, pero el medidor estaba casi vacío (tomé fotos). Es bastante inconveniente recoger carros que no traen el tanque lleno, porque al momento de llenar la gasolina siempre tienes que estar al pendiente de no echarle de menos ni de más para no meterte en un problema y tampoco regalar gasolina. Tengo estatus Emerald Elite con National. Entiendo que son compañías diferentes, pero a la vez hermanas. Como cliente leal que renta muchos autos con ellos, esperaba un poco más de reconocimiento o valor a esa lealtad. No hay National aquí, así que tuve que usar Enterprise, pero mi estatus y lealtad no contaron. Experiencia desagradable.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  The Port Hueneme location is very convenient for us and is staffed with great personnel offering vehicle choices that functionally and monetarily meet out short-term rental needs as they occur

  I picked up the rental from a very kind, professional employee at the South Oxnard Blvd store. I rented a vehicle that ended up having AC that wasnt working properly. I notified the Oxnard location immediately while en route to our destination out of town and the manager was extremely kind and helpful. She told me to go to an Enterprise in San Jose and switch out the vehicle for one that had AC working and if I had any problems to have them call her. The location at San Jose airport had wonderful employees as well. (From the people in the garage handling the vehicles being returned, to the ones at the counter) They helped us switch out the vehicle. The rest of our trip was great. No further issues with the new rental. Awesome experience!!!
