  I recently had a challenging travel day filled with multiple flight delays and setbacks. After a long day of work and numerous airline complications, I even had to change my original arrival airport from Santa Barbara to Ontario just to make it into California. I finally arrived at Ontario Airport in the early morning hours on Friday and rented a vehicle from National. The young lady who assisted me at National was outstanding. Despite the late (or rather early) hour and my exhaustion, she treated me with great care and empathy. She patiently helped me locate my car and made the entire pickup process much smoother than it could have been under those circumstances. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. I returned the vehicle to the Enterprise location in Oxnard on Ventura Boulevard, near the Costco store. There, Crystal, the manager, was also excellent. She was professional, helpful, and efficiently assisted me in resolving and adjusting an extra charge that had been applied to my account. Her support made a noticeable difference. Unfortunately, my experience with the Executive Elite department was disappointing. As an elite member, I expected a higher level of service and priority treatment, but that was not the case. In contrast, the frontline staff at both National and Enterprise treated me far better and with more attentiveness than the Executive Elite team. Overall, the on-site employees at National (Ontario Airport) and Enterprise (Oxnard) delivered great service under difficult circumstances. The weak point remains the Executive Elite support, which fell short of the standards elite members should receive.

  Good service and car. Just a little chaotic with unclear drop-off instructions and key drop was behind a locked door. I had to wait for three hours for the building to open even though the instructions said "24 hour service". This was at Long Beach airport in LA and they said they would fix it. I hope they do!

  I was looking for a specific vehicle in executive aisle. Employee came out and he ran into another aisle and had the vehicle. Fantastic customer service. Employee was very polite and helpful. Great customer service. Quick checkout with drivers license and credit card, with no need to go to the counter. Very efficient.

  I’m dissatisfied because of an incident with the fuel level. When I picked up my rental vehicle, the fuel level indicated a full level, but mileage to empty said just 266 miles, indicating it was not actually full. I told the attendant about this when leaving the lot and they shrugged it off did not do anything. When I returned the car, I filled it up, like you’re supposed to do and it said 350 miles to empty. This proves I was right and the initial fuel level was not full. Most likely your system charged the previous renter a fee for not returning with a full tank. But then gave me the car as if it was full and expected me to return it full. This is an unacceptable fraudulent activity. Not to mention this was in California where gas is outrageously priced. Your company benefits from both customers, by charging a fee to the previous renter and making me make up that fuel deficit because I picked up a vehicle without a full tank but expect me to return it with one.
