    could pick it up. Upon return, everything went smoothly. I did a walk through with the agent and there was no damage in sight and the gas tank was returned full. It was not until 4 HOURS AFTER that I received a call from the same branch manager stating that there was damage to one of the side mirrors. She claimed that it was hanging off its hinge. There was absolutely NO DAMAGE done to the vehicle during my rental and there was no damage to the vehicle upon return. I find it extremely unprofessional that blame would be placed on me 4 hours after the return of the vehicle after a walkthrough had been performed and papers had been signed. If the mirror was hanging off the side of the vehicle the agent and myself would have seen this. Interesting to note that when I returned the car there was no parking available in super tight lot so I was told to leave the vehicle in the middle of the lot and they would re-park it once a spot was open. How am I to know that the mirror wasn't damaged by an employee trying to park the car once a spot emptied or otherwise? PLEASE BEWARE AND DO YOUR DILIGENCE BY TAKING VIDEOS AND PHOTOS. Do not just sign the papers and walk away!

    If you are in the Oceanside area and need a rental car, I would suggest another location, or to choose a competitor altogether. We were vacationing in Oceanside and had a car that needed repairs. We used the text function on a Monday morning during business hours and received no response. We called later in the day on Monday and were told we would get a return call with an update before closing. No response on Monday and no response on Tuesday morning either. We stopped by and were told that they were actively looking for a replacement vehicle. Our names were on a sticky note at the bottom of a stack of papers, so obviously they weren’t looking too hard. The employee mentioned that they were a small location and were having a tough time accommodating our request. So in their own words, this location is too small to accommodate a customer should they actually need anything. Thankfully the guys at Firestone know a thing or two about good customer service and resolved the issue with our clunker.

    ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience with this Enterprise location. Before changing my drop-off location, I called and spoke with a representative to verify they had comparable luxury SUVs available. I was specifically told they did, so I updated my reservation in the app based on that confirmation. When I arrived, I was told there were no comparable luxury vehicles available and was given a small Mazda SUV instead while still paying essentially the same premium rate as my BMW X7 Elite rental. To make matters worse, there was a comparable luxury vehicle sitting on the lot that I asked about, but I was told I couldn't rent it for reasons that were never explained. I was also told the rest of the comparable vehicles were supposedly in maintenance. Had I known this ahead of time, I never would have changed my reservation. The Mazda was also in poor condition. It smelled inside, appeared to have only been rinsed instead of properly washed, had water spots and dirty windows, made strange noises while driving, and lacked the performance, comfort, and cargo space I specifically reserved for my trip. It was also provided with less than three-quarters of a tank of fuel instead of being full. Paying nearly $400 for a rental from the morning of the 22nd until the morning of the 24th and receiving a dirty, poorly maintained, lower-class vehicle is unacceptable. I expected much better customer service, communication, and vehicle quality from Enterprise. I hope Enterprise makes this right, but based on this experience, I would think twice before renting from this location again.
