  This was a great experience. The manager was friendly and professional. Being right next to Camp Pendleton they provide a great product to family, friends and service members. Be sure to make your reservation way in advance to be sure that they have a vehicle ready for you!

  Avoid this location—reservations mean absolutely nothing here. This is the second time the Enterprise on Jones Road in Oceanside has completely left my family stranded, and it’s clear they do not care about customer loyalty or their own policies. Incident 1: My son made a formal reservation well in advance. When we arrived to pick it up, they simply told him they didn't have a car for him and forced him to wait until the next morning. Incident 2: I made a reservation for a 1:30 PM pickup, giving us plenty of buffer after an 11:30 AM flight. The flight was delayed, pushing our arrival back. When we got to the counter, they told us they had already given our car away. Here is the kicker: the agent explicitly stated that Enterprise has a two-hour grace period for reservations. We were well within that window while standing there talking to them. When I asked exactly what time they gave our vehicle away, they admitted they rented it to someone else at 1:45 PM—just 15 minutes after our scheduled time. As a 30-year plus Emerald Club member, it's incredibly insulting to be treated this way. It feels like they saw an opportunity to ditch a loyal member's rate and grab full-price money from a walk-in, completely violating their own grace-period policy. Take your business elsewhere if you actually need a guaranteed ride.

  Horrible experience. Waited 2 and a half hours for a truck rental after being told it would be ready upon arrival at 11 am on Saturday. Received a filthy truck and the display was broken on the Dodge pickup truck. Had to have them pick up the truck Monday morning and had to find an alternative way to work. Wasted more of my time having me set up the tow truck which was Enterprise's own towing service. The guy couldn't find the repair shop that was also part of Enterprise and asked me to help. I had Enterprise deal with it. What a serious waste of my time while my car was in the body shop. After all that, they charged my insurance for 4 days rental even though I never had the vehicle. No charges to me, but I notified my insurance they were being charged for it. Worst rental experience ever. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
