  Update: I changed my review from one star to four because of the nice response to my concerns and a heartfelt apology when I called to follow-up. I would go back again now that I feel they are doing their best and that they take responsibility when anything is below expectations. Original review: Despite the great reviews, I had a frustrating and disappointing customer service experience. I came in to replace my broken stereo and hoped to learn about my options for car audio setups. Instead, the owner's tone was short and argumentative, never smiling or saying anything beyond what was necessary to completing a sale. When I asked whether you could hear the difference in quality between different speakers, he responded defensively, "all our products are quality," without answering the question. He chose a stereo without finding out what I was looking for or explaining the options, and I felt rushed, unwelcome, and disliked. The stereo he picked wasn't the sound quality I was looking for, so I then had to spend time researching my options myself. When I called to ask about exchanging it, he again sounded hostile and barely answered my questions. When I came back for the return and exchange, he had an employee demonstrate the equalizer, who turned the volume up extremely loud. I never asked how to adjust the equalizer or volume knob and had to repeat myself that I didn't want that stereo at all. The noise exposure hurt my ears, and I later had to see a doctor to try to prevent permanent hearing loss. On the second visit, the owner at least greeted me with "How are you?" and offered me a chair while I waited, gestures I hadn't received before. Beyond that, though, he still didn't smile or seem interested in speaking with me. The installation quality, return policy, and pricing were good, and the other employees were kind and helpful. However, I regret choosing this business because no customer deserves to be treated this way. I came away feeling disrespected and sad about a large purchase, a birthday present to myself for which I had saved up for a year, wondering why I didn't get the same service I read about. I hope this review provides feedback and at least helps others understand that their experience may not match the positive reviews.

  The owner is awesome. He actually did so.e work for free, he did t try to work me out of money and was super respectful. Don't ever go to sound factory. Now that place is horrible
