This public EVgo charging station in Oakland provides fast EV charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on 900 Market St., it’s near Mini Supermarket, McDonald's, and Citi Trends. The location offers 24/7 access and has CCS and NACS connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to view charger availability, track sessions, and view Time of Use pricing.
This company won’t let you initiate a $5 or $10 or $45 EV charging session , nope you have to have $55 on your card available funds for them to allow you to start your charge even if you only use $20 worth of electricity. Two thumbs down not everyone has an extra $55 in cash on hand every day to charge their vehicle especially when the car only needs $15 worth to run. Why do you get to discriminate on people who can and can’t charge their vehicles based on finances? I can pay for my vehicle charges I just can’t pay for your bank holds on top of that which are unnecessary and greedy and are designed to add that much more exclusions to a group of people who have not. Shame on you for being so greedy and discriminitive in today’s society post Covid I thought we were all in this together well “WE” didn’t include EVGO they obviously are in it for themselves. $$$$
