  We had a great experience with Alamo during our Phoenix trip, August 28–31. Stephanie welcomed us and was very helpful. She personally walked us to our rental car and made sure everything was taken care of. When we returned the car, Calvin was also very friendly and helpful. He checked us in, asked if we had any concerns, and made sure we were satisfied. Stephanie and Calvin both provided excellent customer service and deserve to be recognized. They made our Alamo experience easy and enjoyable. BTW, booked through Costco and pricing was great.

  Fast line, great service! Daniel was amazing. I had just realized my license had expired a few days earlier, and traveling with a young child put me in a really tough spot. Daniel was incredibly patient and helpful while I renewed my license online, and then he printed the documentation, and completed the proper paperwork so I could still rent a car. He was friendly, understanding, and went above and beyond to help me. I’m so appreciative of the great service!

  It was a very smooth stress free experience. From reserving, pick up and very smooth drop off, although I was returning the car off hours there were no glitches. And the shuttle was already there waiting.

  Super easy in and out. Very nice staff. We rented out of Oakland near the airport. Would definitely choose Alamo again. Car was like brand new. Thank you!

  I originally rented a Jeep Wagoneer for a five-day trip with eight people because we specifically needed the space and comfort of a large SUV. Unfortunately, about an hour into our trip, the vehicle displayed an “Engine Overheating” warning, and we had to stop and find a replacement. We ended up visiting three different Alamo locations in Bakersfield before we were finally given a Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey worked perfectly and got us safely to our destination and back, but it was not the vehicle we had originally reserved. What really impressed me was how Alamo handled the situation afterward. I contacted customer service once we returned from our trip, and they were extremely professional and understanding. They removed an incorrect refueling charge and provided a credit to compensate us for the inconvenience. Things can go wrong with rental cars, but what matters is how a company takes care of the customer when something does go wrong. Alamo made it right, and I really appreciate that. Thank you, Alamo, for taking care of us!
