  My family and I picked up a car at the San Francisco airport. I was on a hurry to get on the road and don’t have a strong sense of smell, so didn’t notice the cigarette smell at first, even though my wife mentioned it within a minute of being in the car. By the time we made it to Navato we had the windows down and the air conditioning going and we were all getting headaches. We weren’t sure if this was something we would have to put up with our entire vacation. Luckily Max handled it like a consummate professional. He and Tony swung in to action evaluated the vehicle and, even though they are a franchise location, navigated the process of making this right for us in no time. Thank you so much!

  Used Costco membership. (Check out the advantages). Easy check out with the mini van of my choice. 500+ miles, one way trip had no car issues. No mileage fees. Returned at an airport was fast, and easy.

  Max the manager and Tony make a great team. I really appreciate their hard work and dedication. There was an issue (issues happen) but between Tony and Max they came up with a more than a fair resolution and quickly. If you need to rent a car in Novato I would highly recommend this Enterprise. Thank you again Max and Tony.

  Shout out to Max, the branch manager, for his dedication to looking out for the customer's best interest. He adjusted and lowered my final charge after a quick clarification - upon returning the car! Additionally, he informed me that my credit card's rental damage benefit would not apply since the reservation was processed through my insurance company following an accident. He brought customer service to the next level. Great job, Max!

  I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to an AWESOME, OUTSTANDING individual who is employed at Enterprise Rental location in Novato—Mr. Maximilian Stadler. I must say, Mr. Stadler has reassured my faith and confidence in what it means to receive good customer service. On the morning of August 29, I walked into the Enterprise location in Novato. It was quite busy and Mr. Stadler was working “ALONE”!! I emphasize ALONE as Mr. Stadler was just AWESOME!! Immediately, I was greeted with, “Hello, thank you for coming in, I’ll be right with you”! Completely different and totally opposite from the "not so nice" experience I had with “assistant” manager Jermaine Thaxton in San Rafael. Mr. Stadler assisted other customers but worked very efficiently. When it was my turn, he greeted me with, “Thank you so much for your patience, and for waiting, how can I help you?” Again, completely different and totally opposite from what I experienced with Mr. Thaxton in San Rafael. I thought to myself, “Now this is how people should be treated”! You don’t have to go overboard to make someone feel welcome or to show that person you value their service and for taking the time to come in and provide the company with business; simplicity goes a long way! After a few preliminaries in securing my reservation, I was quickly on my way. Not to mention, I was provided with a new 2026 car rental. Mr. Stadler certainly made my day, and I will ALWAYS rent from this location in Novato. Thank you so much Mr. Stadler for providing such outstanding customer service in the midst of you running the office alone and for having such a great demeanor. After all, it is to be expected as he is a Branch Manager- he certainly knows what it means to deliver excellence at a higher standard. I hope others will take his stance and learn from him! My experience on September 12, 2026 was also AMAZING. I was greeted and assisted by Branch Manager-Mr. Maximilian Stadler once again and he is simply AWESOME! I arrived a little early for my car rental pick up and he greeted me at the door, once again with a polite smile and an enthusiastic, “Hello, Welcome”! After a few preliminaries, I was once again on my way in a new car rental. The rental gave me no quarrels, and I am once again a very happy customer. I will always secure my rental reservation needs with Enterprise Rental Car in Novato because I know I will be treated with respect and appreciated. Thank you Mr. Stadler for your outstanding above and beyond customer service. You ROCK! 😊 I would also like to mention here that ALL the staff and employees at this location in Novato are also very professional and greet everyone with a smile. Mr. Stadler certainly knows how to train his staff to convey the same respect and warm friendly demeanor he gives. THANK YOU ALL!!
