I had to visit today for a new battery. Jesus Castro helped me out. It was literally the heaviest battery in the world, he was nice enough to carry it for me. They didn’t have the brand of my battery, he showed me all my options they currently had and helped me choose the best battery based on what I could afford and what I needed. Of course before we did all of this, he tested my battery to verify it it could be charged and showed me as he tested it. Sad to say, it could not be charged. It’s an old car so he also gave me some advice on how to keep my battery lasting longer. He was super polite, as soon as he walked up he was respectful, asked me how I was. I was nervous at first because I don’t know what the heck I’m doing, I just knew it had something to do with my battery. He made me feel very comfortable, very nice guy. I definitely recommend coming here and if you can, get help from Jesus! Side note, every single person I came into contact here was super polite and friendly. I think no matter what day it is and who helps you, you’ll have a good experience. Even the other customers were nice. This whole place was a 10/10, you guys are doing amazing.

I went in looking for oil and filter for my SUV and Alexa M was able to match my car exactly to my needs. She also recommended an oil additive to protect my engine that worked well and I did not regret the upsell.

My check engine light came on today so I stopped my the nearest auto zone which was this one. When I first came in, there was a like about 4-5 people long with only one associate at the registers. I seen others around but they had other duties. There was a man who appeared to be the manager just chatting it up with 2 other men. Once he finished his engaging conversation, he decided to help the next customer. I finally get to the register and the female associate was very nice. I asked for the machine and there were no problems. When I came back, the manager was the only one available. I handed him the machine and he printed out the information for me and told me I should start with replacing the spark plugs. I walked out and called a family member who is a mechanic and told them what the paper said. They told me it quite easy to change just need to spark plugs and tools. I go back in to purchase the spark plugs and the manager was still up front. He started to help me but the phone began to ring so he just walked away without saying anything. The female associate came over and was showed me which ones were best for my vehicle. I ended up purchasing them and I forgot to get tools. I already walked out to my car by the time I realized I forgot the tools so I had to go back in. I seen the sign that said “tool loan” or “loan a tool” so I was like cool let me borrow some tools. The manager was like “we don’t loan tools” and proceeded to show me this chart with a bunch of tools on it. I was like okay but your sign on the wall (which I pointed to) states that you loan tools. So kept dismissing the fact that it says loan on the wall. I was like fine let me get the tools I need to change the spark plugs. And he was like “I would need to know the size” which I completely understand their are different size tools but you literally just sold me the spark plugs and you aren’t able to help me with telling me the size tools I would need? Um okay. So he walks me over to the tools while continually telling me I should go to a mechanic. He basically left me there to figure out which tools on my own. Mind you, I was on the phone the entire time with the mechanic who is a family member and he was listening to the manager was dismissing me. The manager goes to help another customer find the items they need and rings them up. I ended up finding the tools I needed and made sure I was checked out by the female associate. The manager came back by asking if I found what I needed. YEAH NO THANKS TO YOU!!! Overall I felt like I was treated differently for being female.
