Beautiful location and they're making lots of upgrades, but no longer have full hookups and only one shower house is open (with only one shower for each gender). There was no hot water and the shower heads were either too weak (like a mist) or too strong (like a laser beam). They apparently did some maintenance on the shower heads after being notified, but I never bothered to try them.
Also, the water has a super strong sulfur smell (and isn't pleasant to drink - I'm used to flat-tasting well water, but this was stinky).
The place is really being refined for an improved boating experience (including an expanded/enhanced store), with most people either day use or cabin camping (or RVs with big tanks).
The cost of trailer camping (water/power) is too high for what they now offer, and tent camping is less attractive for similar reasons.

They had a nice new store where you could get amenities and things that you needed, there was a couple newer bathrooms that weren't too bad. We stayed in the cabins and those need a lot of work especially for the price that they charge. There is absolutely nothing here for kids to do unless you have a boat to go out onto the water. The staff were really nice and helpful.

We had a good time during our stay but was very unimpressed with the campsite. The numbers on each campsite are not clear as to which spot is which. No arrows or clear markings. Someone was in our spot when we got there. Thankfully we were able to make it over to the marina store before they closed at 4:30pm. The staff were nice and helped us get into another open spot. However, on our last night, another group pulled in and told us we were in their spot. By that time, no Marina employee was available to help us, nor do they provide any way to contact them for urgent needs after 4:30pm. To top it off, the showers provided for the campgrounds had no hot water and were told of that after we arrived for our stay. Overall, we made the best of it but definitely plan on staying elsewhere in the future!
