We were broken down in an old vintage car (61 corvette) about a mile walk away and they dropped everything to bring us our we parts purchased over the phone and the tools we needed. Very friendly and helpful. Bennie was concerned that we were stranded and called several time to check up on us. Great service, helpful, caring staff. Thank you. Highly recommend!
- TTTrekintoshApr 13, 20261.0Want a broken wheel bearing? How about an alternator that doesn’t fit your car? Autozone has you covered! Regrettably I give Autozone my business fairly often, because oreillys rarely has parts in stock. Well, it turns out that Autozone doesn’t have parts in stock either, apparently. 3 lies in a row last weekend. 1: “we can get you an alternator on Sunday.” They did not. It was Monday. When I got a notification saying my alternator was ready for pickup, that apparently actually meant the parts truck had left. In Bakersfield. 2: “we have that wheel hub assembly in our other store. It’ll be $39.99.” I got to the other store. It was $159.99. 3: “this alternator will fit your car.” It did not. Not even close, not like for the same car but wrong engine, or wrong year, no, it was completely different. Just save your sanity and use Rockauto. Unless you’re truly screwed and need your car back yesterday, it’s not worth the headache. The staff are nice and polite and fairly competent, but the parts are borderline fraudulent.
