  I dropped my car off 10 am not expecting it to be ready until 1.thinking I needed an alignment. I didn't get a call until 1pm saying they JUST looked at it and I needed additional work done. The work needed were strut replacements. The man I spoke to said that the work could not be done in a timely manner and my car would not be ready until the next day. Saying the labor was a lot and getting the parts would take time.and the cost of everything would be $1400 I then expressed my frustration because I could have taken it to another shop to get the work done quicker. He said that I was lucky I didn't get charged for a diagnostic check and that no where else could get it done before tomorrow. Saying that the hour later than they had said didn't make a difference because even if he had started the work an hour prior meaning ON TIME that it still would not be ready. Needless to say I took my car to another shop. Called AUTOMOTIVE..they got it done in 3 hours for $744 almost half the price! Way less time. So with that being said mccoys employee was very misleading and rude. If you're too busy and don't want to get the work done you should just say that instead of having a car sit in your garage until you're ready to work on it.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with McCoy Tire on McHenry Ave in Modesto. I brought in my 2015 Toyota Highlander because I could tell something wasn’t right when braking, even though other mechanics had told me the vehicle was fine. The team at McCoy Tire did a thorough inspection and found that my rear brakes were down to about 2mm. They also discovered an issue with the control arm/bushing where the rubber was gone, which explained what I had been feeling while braking. Thank you Dane! What impressed me most was their honesty and professionalism. They took the time to explain what they found, answered my questions, and made sure I understood what my Highlander needed. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to sell me unnecessary repairs. It’s a relief finding an auto repair shop in Modesto that you feel you can trust. I felt like my car was in good hands from the moment I brought it in. I’ll definitely be returning to McCoy Tire for future brakes, tires, inspections, and other car repair needs. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable mechanic in Modesto, especially around McHenry Ave, I highly recommend giving them a try! Thank you Dane!!

  Got all new tires here and they fixed some issues with my car. Service was fast and easy. My car is running great now. Would absolutely use them again and recommend to others!
