  WARNING: Unsubstantiated Pre-Existing Damage Charges & Misleading Inspection Advice I am writing this to warn future renters about check-out inspection practices at this Milpitas location. During my check-out walk-around on August 3rd, 2026, I explicitly pointed out pre-existing cosmetic damage to the branch employee. The staff member inspected the area and verbally assured me that the damage fell below Enterprise’s mandatory Damage Evaluator reporting threshold and did not need to be written up on the outgoing contract. Relying on their trained representative's instruction, I left with the car. Two weeks after returning the car, Enterprise demanded over $2000 for that exact pre-existing damage. When formally disputed, they refused to provide pre-rental outgoing photos proving vehicle condition prior to my rental, relying entirely on post-return photos. Extremely disappointing experience. Make sure to take your own photos and videos before leaving the lot. Be warned: Do NOT rely on verbal guidance from staff at this location. Take high-resolution, time-stamped photographs and videos of every inch of the car before leaving the lot, because Enterprise will attempt to bill you thousands for pre-existing conditions without producing pre-rental photo evidence.

  On September 5th 09:00 AM, I visited the Milpitas branch. We waited for 30 mins in line when our turn came. The guy in the front desk refused to help us, said we don’t have a Tesla and I can’t help you find one in other branches as there is a big line behind me. He asked us to wait for 1 hour or come after 3 days as it was a holiday. He didn’t have the time to help us. What a shame. Never going to enterprise again. I had called this branch on 4th September and they had put me on hold for thrice for 20 mins and never answered. I had called their support they said they don’t know about the inventory of the branch location. How can you not know about your own inventory? Enterprise as a company is not doing well. Absolutely the worst experience ever.
