  Beware before choosing this location. I have been a loyal Valvoline customer for approximately 10 years and have spent thousands of dollars servicing multiple vehicles at Valvoline locations throughout Southern California. My experience at the Menifee location was the worst customer service I have ever received. On June 23, 2026, I arrived first and waited in line for well over 45 minutes, ultimately more than an hour, in nearly 90-degree weather. During that time, multiple vehicles that arrived after me were acknowledged and serviced while I was never acknowledged, never directed forward, and never given any explanation. Employees walked past my vehicle multiple times while servicing other customers. Only after I spoke up was I told it was simply “human error.” I found that explanation difficult to accept after watching customer after customer who arrived after me receive service before I did. I was the only Black customer present among the vehicles involved. Based on everything I personally experienced that day, I left feeling invisible, disrespected, and treated differently from the other customers. Whether this resulted from unconscious bias, conscious bias, or a serious breakdown in customer service, the impact was the same. I filed a formal complaint with Valvoline Corporate (Claim #CS3190330) and requested that surveillance footage and service records be reviewed. As of this review, I am still awaiting a meaningful response. I later drove more than 40 miles to the Norco Valvoline location, where I was immediately acknowledged and treated with professionalism and respect. ( I was in the area). That experience confirmed for me that what occurred in Menifee was not the level of service customers should expect from Valvoline. Until Valvoline demonstrates that it has investigated this incident and taken corrective action, I cannot recommend this location EVER! If fairness, professionalism, and respectful treatment matter to you, I would encourage you to consider another Valvoline location. Perhaps Norco Store IH0025 off of Mountain.

  I was so disappointed with my last experience at another location that I almost wrote off Valvoline altogether. I’m glad I decided to stop at this location before heading home. The service was amazing, everyone was friendly and professional, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. Alex and John took great care of me, it couldn’t have been a better experience. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location!

  Great visit until I leave and all of the suddenly my car is sputtering when I put it in park or neutral. Come to find out my intake hose was knocked loose and not sealed from them “checking my filter “ . Now I’m headed to autozone to get a new clamp because the other one is broken.

  Love coming here, the staff is amazing and I never have to worry about over paying or being given things that I don’t need! They show you your filters before putting it in to ensure you see a clean one and the show you the old so that you can decide if you want to replace it or not. I love seeing women working imale dominated career also, thank you for the military discount. It is so appreciated but more importantly your staff is always so pleasant respectful and hands-down the most professional staff I’ve come across in a very long time. Wanna smile go get an oil change at Valvoline on home Road in Menifee they all rock.

  Not impressed. One employee asked someone who seemed to be one of their many new graduates if all my lights were working and he replied that I told him I didn’t want him to check my lights- he never even asked me. I told the over seeing employee as such. Not only did he not ask me he never spoke to me at all. He’s clearly going to be cutting corners on the work he does. He was too busy talking to the other guy about who was “thicker” and dropping F bombs with each other. Took at least 5 people to put my air filter back in place as well (o drove a Honda not an unusual car) Then when went to leave I was told I was clear and started to drive off and found out they had not closed the net below my car. Which apparently is a big deal because I had to wait for them to fix it when the guy who went to guide me out double checked (he seemed to know what was going on). Rough trip!
