  I made a reservation in advance, but they did not honor it. They said they didn’t have cars or they were giving them to people who made reservations before I did (still not sure because 2 people after me got cars). When I asked questions and asked to talk to a manager, the girl at the counter became very rude. What good is a reservation if you don’t get a car? I tried to contact the manager, but he did not respond. Do not rent a car from this place.

  After my car broke down on the highway nearby, Chloe helped me get into the car I needed at a moment’s notice. I am eternally grateful for her compassion and efficient service at such a stressful time. Thanks to her, our trip was salvaged. Geraldine was also very sweet and helpful when I called in twice to extend the rental. Thank you ladies, your kindness did not go unnoticed!

  I raced upstate to Arcata, CA because my sister was dying. She passed away 3 days later. Her family was so distraught and shocked that I left 2 days earlier than planned to give them time to mourn. I called Enterprise and was assured I would receive a refund for the 2 days not used. NOT SO. instead I got emails saying no refund. I called again and they said their employee was mistaken. (Later I got a voicemail from the manager, Grant Lesser, saying that “everything looked great “ with the car and he asked me to leave a 5-star review for them.) In comparison, I received a prompt refund from the hotel for the 2 unused days. NEVER AGAIN with enterprise! It’s just a scam and they DO NOT CARE about the customer.
