- DNDaylan NemeroffJun 18, 20261.0So I got gas this afternoon on an outside pump using a Citibank credit card. I only got $30 worth of gasoline. Next thing I know I also have a hold on my credit card for $226 from EZ trip. I was appalled when I saw this and I called the gas station and spoke to a manager asking if this was normal that they hold on credit cards for $226. She stated that that was normal when you pay for gas outside on the pumps, I said that’s absurdand I’ve never heard of that before. I called my bank right after and they said that they had nothing to do with that hole that it was all the gas station . I will never get gas at this gas station ever again let alone use any of their services. I do not recommend them. Please check your bank account to make sure they are not doing that to you. I can’t believe something like that would be legal.
