  Great experience from start to finish. We used a Groupon voucher, and the process was quick and easy. We only had to pay the taxes and a hazardous waste fee, which came out to about $8 out of pocket. CJ performed a pre inspection before the oil change and was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to explain everything. Cesar, the manager, also assisted with the oil change and made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back.

  I visited the East Hollywood store at 4359 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90029, yesterday (June 14, 2026) for an oil change and I have no issues with that service (other than not being offered conventional oil, only the more expensive synthetic). My complaint involves the representative running a check on my battery and then describing the result as "bad" and requiring a replacement. Yet when I produced my invoice showing her the battery had been purchased 14 months earlier at that same store in April 2025, instead of initiating the replacement she showed that information to the store manager who then ran another test the result of which he said the battery was suddenly fine. I advised him that it was a super sketchy situation to be describing a battery as in need of immediate replacement and then finding it wasn't when the battery in question was Valvoline's and there was no money to be made in honoring the warranty. He just laughed, neither offering a defense nor disagreeing with me. I will think twice before being a Valvoline customer again but should I go in the future I will most certainly reject all upsell attempts.
