!!!I will not rent from this location anymore!!!!
I had a highly frustrating experience with this location regarding vehicle safety and communication.
We were leased a rental car that, upon closer inspection a day into driving it, was found to have two damaged tires. This is a significant safety oversight that should have been caught during a standard pre-rental inspection before the car was allowed on the road.
When I brought this to the attention of the branch, the manager, Nathan, assured me he would follow up with his senior manager to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, that follow-up never happened, and communication completely stopped on their end.
Fortunately, our credit card company reviewed our photographic evidence of the pre-existing damage and fully resolved the dispute in our favor. While the financial side is taken care of, the lack of thorough vehicle inspections and the unfulfilled promises of management mean I will be choosing other rental options in the future.
Inspect your vehicles carefully before leaving this lot. Do not leave their lot without pictures.

Google this company and their claims of damages days after rental return and strongly consider using another company. I highly recommend having insurance protections in place and photo documenting every inch of the car in detail and good lighting while picking up and returning. Do not drop and go, however much they try to insist that it’s fine. Make sure someone there inspects and signs off on the vehicle (even though there are reports that that doesn’t always even matter and they may try to make claims down the line). Also, their shuttle buses are horrendous and we got soaked before our flight from an air conditioner that dumped water onto the back seats when the bus turned right corners while on the way back to the terminal. The car received was not remotely close in standard to the one used as an example when booking on the website.

Carlo was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions in detail, especially regarding the insurance options and the vehicle specifications. Since we were traveling as two families with three children between the ages of 5 and 7, there were many factors we needed to consider. Carlo was incredibly patient, attentive, and thorough in explaining everything and helping us find the best solution for our needs. We truly appreciated his outstanding service and would highly recommend him to anyone.

By far the shadiest and sketchiest car rental. They are complete scam artists. Rented a car, picked it up after checking in online. Showed up the guy handed me the key and told me where the car is parked and so we picked it up and left. Came back and dropped off 4 days later and the guy checking us in took a photo of a small part of the back bumper and claimed we had caused the damage. He said it could have been the person previously checking the car in after previous rentals didn’t take good photos so the damage could have been caused by a previous renter. I told him we had nothing to do with the damages and he promised it’s likely okay. He told me to sign the final form and I asked him does this mean I agree that the damages were cause by me which he replied “absolutely not” and just told me to sign. Sure enough 2 days later Sixt send me a damage report and wants me to pay for damages. I went and looked them up online and sure enough everyone has issues with sixt claiming bogus damages. This is literally how they try to make more money off you. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEM. They’re complete scam artists.

We are frequent travelers and have rented vehicles from Sixt in the US and in Europe. We have never had any issues with Sixt as I mostly book directly on their platform.
On our recent business trip to Los Angeles, I managed to pay for our hotel and Sixt Rental with my Delta sky miles via Delta Car Rentals.
Had a great experience when checking in for a vehicle and got exactly what I requested online.
Returning the vehicle was quite the opposite.
If I have time, I always wait for a representative to check in the car to make sure there are no additional surprise charges.
When Sixt representative, Cesar did his walk around inspecting the vehicle, he pointed out two very small scratches on the inside rear door jam, hatch/bumper loading strip..
Before I even drove the car off the rental lot, I did my due diligence taking screenshots of all sides of the vehicle, INCLUDING THE REAR END...there were no noticeable scratches.
I asked Cesar the current mileage, over 23k miles. That vehicle had many renters before me and don't tell me there is a little wear and tear that comes with car rentals. Surprisingly that BMW was in terrific shape.
I hardly used that vehicle, drove it to the hotel, watch the valet take out the luggage and when checking out of the hotel, the same watched the bellman load our luggage, they lifted the luggage and did not drag it across that bumper.
Since Sixt contract with Delta Rental Car is a deal, they really don't make much off the rental, especially when I pay with miles.
I truly believe that they create claims such as this to make up the difference on their rentals.
Cesar had given me the heads up that he documented it and I would probably get a damage claim and the next day I was emailed a damage claim.
In all my years of travel, renting cars from Hertz, Enterprise and other rental car services, I have never wrecked, dented or been sent a damage claim, especially for very small scratches they accuse me of happening on my watch.
I treat my rentals as my own personal and take great care while renting.
I spent most of my day on the phone talking to different representatives with Delta Car and American Express claims department and it was brought to my attention that Sixt has a history of taking advantage of customers such as myself with false claims.
I made sure that the Delta Car Rental division knew my experience and make note, so that they reconsider offering Sixt as one of their rental car contractors.
Based on principle, a lot of my energy has been spent disputing this claim as I believe it is false and I will do what I can to prove my case and not be taken advantage of.
My obligation is to let others know my experience and so they do fall victim to false claims.
I would like to add that Sixt does not have any representatives do a walk around while checking out with the customer so there is a witness to initial off on the condition like other rental car companies do such as Enterprise.
I loved renting from Sixt but unfortunately they have lost a customer and positive reviews.

Since I cannot reply back to your message, I am adding to my review.
Your response was more of a disregard to my review.
As an owner in providing services to travelers, I would think you would go out of your way to be more proactive, with looking further into the damage claim that your Sixt store submitted.
I truly believe it's an exaggerated claim for small snatches you could never see on the bumper when closing the hatch.
You carry high end cars and I think you can afford having representatives available when checking out the car to do a walk around with the customer to point out any damages, having the customer initial the paperwork before they drive off the lot.
That BMW had over 20,000 miles on it, there were many renters before me, so for you to put in a claim with no previous images taken after the last time it was driven is based on assumption.
AND ONE BAD EXPERIENCE CAN CANCEL OUT ALL OTHER GOOD EXPERIENCES.
