  Had a car rental with another agency who canceled my rental then tried to charge me extra for my plane being late (charging more for less time renting? What?) I was so stressed out when I landed and Anime helped me out and was honestly just extra kind to me when I really needed it after a stressful day of flying. I was on the verge of tears when I got there and I left with an upgrade and a discount. Good customer service at an airport is less and less common these days and these are the days we really need it most. I will be renting with them from now on.

  I normally don’t write reviews, but this company is a scam and I don’t want anyone else to be taken advantage of. I had rented a car for a two night business trip. When I picked up the car, the girl at the counter had told me that there was some damage to the front and that they were aware of it and that I didn’t need to worry about it. After I return the car, I got an invoice that included multiple extra charges. The first was for odor removal for $400. I called immediately and explained that I have never smoked a day in my life that I was the only person in the car and that I was barely in the car at all the person on the phone immediately took the charge off. The next charge was for damages. I was then told to call the damage department. I explained the situation and they said because I had no proof of the conversation that I would be liable for the damages. I am still trying to fight this. The third charge was for fuel. They charged me $111 for 2 gallons of gas - someone explain that one to me! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

  This was our first time renting from SIXT and we could not have been more pleased. The staff at pickup and drop off were exceptionally friendly and helpful (at pickup, extending our rental by a couple of hours with minimal charge; at drop off, driving us to the airport so we didn't have to wait for the shuttle). Unlike at so many rental car agencies, we felt like the SIXT staff weren't trying to game us (e.g., by aggressively pushing insurance or charging us for non-existent scratches) and that they genuinely cared about our experience.

  reception staff, and vehicles are excellent. However, if you go through a serious incident—as I did when my rental car was stolen—you may unfortunately find that there is no meaningful support. Despite having purchased the highest level of insurance coverage, I received no real assistance, not even with coordinating with the police. When you call, you are answered by an AI system, and their website does not provide a clear way to communicate by email—only automated AI responses. I have already returned home from my vacation, and to this day, no one has contacted me about the personal belongings that were inside the vehicle. I have not even received a message checking on me or providing an update.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and completely unacceptable customer service. I rented and returned a car at this location. When I returned the vehicle, my wife, the SIXT employee, and I inspected the car together. The employee gave me a thumbs-up and confirmed that everything was fine, and I signed the return invoice. More than 15 days later, I received a claim stating that the car had a scratch on the wheel when I returned it, and SIXT is now trying to charge me nearly $400. Fortunately, I have videos and photos from the time of the return that clearly show the condition of the vehicle and that there was no such damage. The car was brand new, and I barely drove it during my stay in Los Angeles. What is even more frustrating is that SIXT has completely ignored the photo and video evidence I provided. They continue sending automatic payment reminders without even properly responding to my dispute. This is extremely disappointing and makes me question the reliability and integrity of their inspection and claims process. **Avoid SIXT and, in particular, this location.** I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
